Yeah for now Wanam is the way to go until we get the time to do all the mods over... It pretty much gives you all the mods we had on MK3.

So far for next update:
KToonsez's Kernel (already got permission)
KTweaker
Dazed's SystemUI
Hacked Hotspot
Updated Theme
Wicked SecWallpaperChooser
Note 3 Launcher with Theme Support
Whatever else I think of

:D Don't forget to include the Kuban Updater ...

on-the-go

i saw a feature on another rom called "on-the-go" mode, it's where you basically have the camera as your wallpaper so you not missing much by looking at your phone......well my question is ...is there anyway to get that on this rom?

Its on either wanam or xblast. I'm using it now. Kinda trippy.

EDIT: Found it! Its on XBlast.

On the lockscreen? That's already in the ROM. Settings/My Device/Lock Screen/Shortcuts/Camera

Bootloader Install Method

Note to @cbrox;

Your method worked like a charm! Many thanks...
For those of you who missed it, @cbrox was kind enough to share his method of installing the ND8 bootloader via Odin. It was (correct me if I'm wrong, Cbrox;)

1) Open Odin and uncheck "auto reboot".
2) Odin the Stock ".tar"
3) After it's done installing, hit "Reset" and Odin will reset. Leave "auto reboot" checked this time.
4) Odin Philz.
5) When done, Phone will reboot first into recovery. Philz will ask you if you want to "fix root"? Say Yes. Boot into system
6) Once in stock system, download "SuperSU" from Play Store (thanks, @Chainfire)
7) Open SuperSU. It will ask you if you want to disable Knox. Tell it "Hell, Yes".
8) Shut down and boot into recovery manually. Install Wicked X v6.0. Watch the magic happen.

Doing this will install the ND8 bootloader and the custom recovery; install root; and remove Knox.

Isn't life great when it works out?

EDIT: I should mention, I needed these instructions because I was coming over from 4.3 and had not yet upgraded anything to ND8. This is only if you are looking to flash Wicked X 6.0 coming from a non-official KK rom. In my case, I was still on Jelly Bean and didn't want to turn my phone into a doorstop.

That's an AOSP ROM based off of Google's source, this is TouchWiz ... Based on Samsung's source, not anywhere close to the same thing

is this what i have to flash in order to have nd8??

Default [MOD][ND8][4.4.2][ND8 DeoDex Flashable Zip]
Here's a flashable zip that will deodex the ND8 KiKat release. I made this for those that wish to be deodexed until CNexus and the crew are able to work out the kinks in his ND8 KitKat Rom. Do not install over ND8 KitKat Rom, you will not have data. Follow the steps below and as always, flash at your own risk.

Thanks to:
DR_CDMA for his [FULL RESTORE][TAR] Stock ND8 Odin FLASHABLE [4.4.2]
Chainfire for his CF Auto Root tool
Phil3759 for his PhilZ Touch CWM recovery
Bilgerryan for all his help and guidance
CNexus for his unrelenting hard work with the ND8 KitKat rom
If I missed anyone, please forgive me. Please let me know and I will give the deserved credit

Instructions:

1) Download ND8 Stock Tar Odin Flashable found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...48&postcount=1

2) Install ND8 Stock Tar Odin Flashable, root device and install PhilZ's latest CWM Recovery. Use this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...8&postcount=19

3) Debloat and de-knox using this tool:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=273

4) Install flashable ND8 DeoDex tool:
Boot into recovery, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache and install zip.
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23329332407592070

That's it. You should now be running ND8 stock rooted with custom recovery, debloated, de-knoxed and deodexed.

Is there any way to get this whole package without being themed? This would be perfect for me if I could get it with the stock TW UI. Is there a "Stock ND8" theme that I can flash over this?

@bilgerryan -- your thread here has convinced me to take the plunge: I am Odin(ing) the ND8 stock tar file on my phone as we speak. Thus, I will be flashing your Kit Kat ROM (Wicked X) soon -- what a huge file, 1.5GB at last glance.

Anyhow, do I have to re-flash my custom recovery or will it still be there from Wicked Sensations/Wicked Project X? I just want to be stock as short a time as possible. No biggie since I have the Philz Recovery tar downloaded too.

I havnt flashed this yet, still on stock ND8 with root. Can I backup like the system UI apk and touchwiz apk with titan backup and restore them after I install wicked? What are all the files that are actually themed? Which files should I back up to have all the options here, minus the entire PCB theme and APK themes?

found something on an old post think this might be what im looking for

Uninstall/Removal:

It would be double the work for me to provide another .zip to revert files, so what I would recommend is that you just extract your original /system/app/SystemUI.apk and /system/framework/framework-res.apk from your original ROM .zip and drop them in a copy of my theme .zip, overwriting them. Simply enter Recovery and flash that .zip which should revert ONLY those 2 files. I'd also recommend doing a wipe of the Dalvik-Cache.

would doing this allow me to keep all the tweaks and just get rid of the theme?
