[ROM][ND8/NJ2][4.4.2] Wicked X v8.2 [Updated 2/15/15]

got it straightened out... i used the apktool 2.0.9beta and fixed a couple bad .9 images in my theme and it works now.... try downloading the framework mod in this zip and use it....

also, this will add custom framework backgrounds..... took some playing with to get it to work for some reason lol

first zip is the mod, second is a base to make your own custom backgrounds.... just replace the pic in vrtheme/system/framework/framework-res.apk/res/drawable-xhdpi

my themes have also been updated in my thread to incorporate this as well....

NOTE: YOU WILL HAVE TO REFLASH YOUR THEME IF YOU ARE NOT ON THE PCB THEME... AS THIS WILL RETHEME FRAMEWORK TO PCB BLUE.

Fyi i was trying to connect my phone to my pc and it wouldnt see my phone so i was playing around with some apps and found out that greenify and fast charge were preventing my pgone from connecting to my pc it would still charge but no connection so i uninstalled greenify and turned off fast charge viola it connected i dont know if it greenify itself or just a setting but it works now so if you guys are having problems with your phone connecting to your pc and have greenify installed uninstall greenfy and see if that helps

I have absolutely everything greenified with no problem connecting to pc... trust me, its not greenify.. go ahead and reinstall it to save that precious battery life.

fast charging is it... it disables alot of background (and some foreground) apps and services in order to FAST CHARGE the phone while plugged in via usb port, due to those apps and services (such as media connection) not running and draining battery.....

gonna have to change that setting when ya wanna use it as a media connection

thansk.. now if only i could figure out this darn smali for the lockscreen ink effect.... i have absolutley no knowledge or experience with smali so its kinda like trying to learn two different foreign languages at the same time and its just kicking my butt...

so i took a break and put that out for now lol

I have a modded "smart eye" here if anybody wants it. I think it looks better than the plain white one. I couldn't catch a screenshot of it in the status bar because it doesn't stay on as long as MK3, so I just loaded a plain screenshot of it in the file. Flash in recovery after insuring you have a backup.

Is there another way to do the upgrade other then odin?
You see I have over 10GB of data in the android folder alone that I use folder mount to link them to my SD card and I know there is a 50/50 chance odin will wipe my data partition on internal memory clean which I am trying to avoid to make the jump to this rom. If the transfer was not so god forsaken long transferring files from the phones internal to my HDD I would not have an issue with it but it took an hour and a half just to transfer the OBB folder which is the bulk of the 10GBs.
Any help would be great!
Would flashing a stock unrooted mk3 rom through recovery then doing the OTA update solve my problem or is Custom recovery going to give me an issue?

There is not a 50/50 chance it will wipe your data on you internal SD card...... it is 100% guaranteed to wipe it!
Back it up before you do anything!

anyone else having trouble recompiling the framework-res apk?

i am getting like a million string errors saying somethings not defined in public.xml and havent made any changes... i get the same error on the stock apk... using apktool 1.5.2

when i use the 2.x beta apktool i can build the stock framework but get the same errors on this framework?

anyone else having an issue?

Yeah, I had trouble (a million errors like you) getting the framework res.apk to recompile about a week or so ago. Haven't tried lately.

It just means your settings are different from what you previously set. Click yes if you want to keep the settings.

The dev also underclocks his voltages by -50
Edit he under clocks voltages by -25, i got confused. I tried the -50 my bad.
