Just got into hotel in Cleveland, and dl'ing from QC server; no porn... :crying:

Sheesh, one day in the air and I miss out on boobalicious file hosts, forum mod visit, Tek shattering his screen, and Hector blowing his front axle out on a pothole. This is what happens when you don't have wi-fi on the airplane.

Is dirty flash not recommended on this version? I'm reading mixed signals. (TBH, I'm still kinda hung up on that AFH adult file ad thing).

So I stopped getting phone calls and texts on my GS3, but my Nexus 5 was working ok. Finally figured out I accidentally turned on "Do Not Disturb" on the Google Voice feature. I can laugh about it now because I at least saved myself the embarrassment of posting on here that I had the issue, only to find out it was my own stupidity.

I did a clean flash to make sure everything is running as smooth as possible without flaws on my part. You could try a dirty flash first if you want. I was personally experiencing some issues I think I caused myself. If you left your rom alone and didnt modify very much a dirty flash should still be okay theoretically. Sorry if I was the one that gave you mixed signals on the topic. V7.3 clean install is still kicking butt and taking names. @TONY6669 wonderful job on the green and pink themes. Im getting an s3 for my mom, she is going to love it pimped out with pink! Thanks man.

The build.prop edit works? It didn't work on the E4GT JellyBean so I didn't mention it.

I didn't think it would work either. But apparently it does. The only thing is the Lockscreen Wallpaper doesn't quite look correct in Landscape. I'll try the other method tomorrow.

for some reason on stock ndc and on wicked x 7.2 and 7.3 i randomly cant connect to wifi or lock my phone it sometimes fixes itself but not all the time :/

It is recommended that you change all animation speeds to x.5 in Developer Settings (Press on Build # ten times in Settings/About Phone to unlock)

Exactly why I decided to stay on the nd8 modem. I technically should be using ndc but nd8 modem is great and I'm not getting the issues your talking about. I'm not saying the nd8 modem will fix your problem, but its worth checking into.

Extremely stupid question...

It's hard to search for something when you don't know what it's called. Sorry in advance for this stupid question... I'm trying the change the color of the background area on the top of the screen where the time, cell bars, battery, etc is located but I don't know what that area is called. Right now it shows the background pattern of the pulldown notification area. I want to make it a black background. I assume I need to use wanam to do it? I hope the question is understandable. I don't want to change the actual animated pulldown, just the strip at the top of the homescreen above the wallpaper that shows behind the time, battery, etc. Man I sound stupid :silly: Thanks and sorry.

Actually looking into this background... Don't like the Greg but had to add it to work with holo light apps like secemail.

I do plan on modding the s5 MMS app to point back to the black background....

It's called the status bar, and for some reason it was taken out of the theming part of Wanam a couple versions ago.

^^^ THis. I was blown away when I noticed this after searching thru each module.. and even in the APEX laucher setting and still no way of changing it. I gave up.

Anyway.. Awesome rom/update. I dirty flashed and have had no issues at all. I have working hotspot, but don't know if that is because I dirty flashed over 7.2 (which I used the Hotspot mod) or because of 7.3 being possibly "fixed."

well i have no problems with the NDC Modem on AOSP roms like CarbonRom i just fined it odd that i get the issue on stock NDC Odin tar <----- actual rom that was on my phone prior to messing with custom roms....and on Wicked X v7.2 and 7.3 but since i flashed a ND8 based rom do i automatically get the ND8 Bootloader? or am i still on the NDC one cause that could help me at least
