It is the recovery almost all of us use, I think it's relevant. Plus I really don't care if you guys go a little OT as long as it's interesting, important, or phone related. Just don't stray too far or hold up the thread too long. And keep it clean [emoji106], this is an all ages/international forum (even though this is a US Carrier... I've seen things happen and accidentally said something myself... Just something to keep in mind).

Just bought Next Launcher 3D the other day. Don't regret it. Loving the mix and match theme feature, effects, and animations. I'd recommend but only if you have the scratch to spare or whatever.

Quick Philz OT. The daemon works for me. I swear that on older versions I didn't need it. I think that Kitkat had something to do with it. But anyway, it works for me now.

I have been running Wicked-X for a while now as my DD. I did try to switch back to my backup of my Unrooted stock that I made after ODIN of NDC just for the hell of it.

I wanted to compare radio performance. I must say that stock did seem a little bit better in every way. Data and WiFi. No noticeable difference on BT. I don't know if this is the stock kernel or what.

Not enough of a difference to make me run stock but just putting it out there.

OT response are you running ND8 bootloader with ND8 modem on Wicked X or NDC Bootloader with NDC modem on Wicked X cause that could be the reason NDC stock gave you better signal and WiFi

NDC both bootloader and modem. I have not tried the ND8 bootloader but I have tried the ND8 modem.

WiFi connected much snappier and LTE switches to 3g and back and from WiFi a little better. I ride the bus to work ride through various strengths of data signal and use various public wifi Hotspots during the week.

On the weekend, I am in an LTE no man's land with wildly fluctuating 3g signal strength. I don't notice much difference then.

All jokes aside, it takes the fun out of it if you can't test it... And I'm too impatient to wait on other people. If somebody wants to port it, I'll give them everything they need.

Is there any way to get all of the under the hood stuff from this ROM without the theming? There aren't many options available for ND8 and this is by far the most full featured, but I'm not so partial to the theming.

there is just i think @treblesum81 doesn't want to "start from scratch" in a sense and just wants the mods....like audio and s5 apps and other cool things without the theme that's comes with Wicked X or without having to theme Wicked X and in a sense stay "stock" with everything else
