Today is also my birthday

Wicked x 8.0 is so packed with features. I just love it. Thanks so much for all the work and time spent putting this together.
I have searched in the thred as well as every setting menu of this rom but for the life of me cannot get the brightness slider to appear in the notifications drawer. I've checked the box on and off. Rebooted. Wiped cach and delvik. Any suggestions or ideas are welcome. Thanks again

Did you check the md5sum? Using any themes? Can you get a screenshot? Did you flash any mods?

I switched to the stockish theme and i have wanam running. What would you like a screen shot of? Md5 matches

The Brightness Slider... The thing that's missing. Have you made sure it's not turned off in Wanam? Try turning off Wanam in the Closed Installer and reboot and see if it comes back.

apps that i ported from the Elite Rom v2.2 from the international S3 GT-I9305 LTE model with a few extras these have only been tested on my Boost Mobile variant of the Sph-L710 on the Wicked X Bare Bones Rom these apps from what i read are themed for the most part to look like the S5 apps with a S3 twist....but all the credit for these goes to the developer of this rom MaHo_66 and the developers of the roms he used as a base. Now do not flash this zip file in the custom recovery you must extract and look at the apps you would like to try out; i have only included the ones i have tried and work 100% but there are 2 apps in there own folder that i included that i haven't tested mostly cause i forgot to but your more then welcome to try them out....now after extraction you will find three folders but there is only one folder called Elite Rom additional apps where you can install them as normal apps with out needing SU permissions but the other 2 on the other hand require you to install as system apps...
i ended up having to post it up on android file host cause the zip i made was to large for XDA

I flashed Wicked x 8.0 on my Sprint Galaxy S III a couple weeks ago. I'm very happy with it. It has basically given my S III a new life.
The two issues I have are:
Stock Camera - I open the stock camera and I get the "Unfortunately, Camera has stopped" error. So I installed the Google Camera and it works fine.
Wifi/Data - When my screen shuts off (sleep?) it turns off my wifi/data connection. When I unlock the phone it reconnects. This is annoying when listening to streaming services.
Those are the only issues I've had.
I almost had my wife convinced to let me flash Wicked X on her S III but she doesn't care for the electric blue type of theme or the other compatible themes listed in post #3. She likes the standard Samsung stock touchwiz theme that came with her phone.

In the zip file that I shared in the last page there is a legit S5 TW UI theme by replacing the system ui apk and and framework res apk

Are you saying to replace the systemUI.apk and framework-res.apk in the Wicked-X-v8.0.zip then re-flash Wicked X?
Also, are the files you are referring (legit S5 TW UI theme) in the following dir in the zip?

Not sure about the camera issue. Best i could tell u would be to move ur pics off the phone, and see about re-installing, but u'd have to find the stock app.
For wi-fi, check under wi-fi/menu/advanced to keep wi-fi on during sleep.
Did u check out the great themes from launcher menu. A few seem very "stock" (no longer quite sure what that means ?)

nope you have to manually do it via a root browser and its better if you switch out the framework res apk by first copying it into either system/app or priv-app in the wicked x rom then fixing the permissions then use the option to move (not copy) the new framework res apk to the framework folder and replace the one that's currently there and since you already fixed the permissions you just need to reboot and walla you know have a s5 look on the s3 not everything changes tho just so know but most if not all things change when you combine the framework res apk and the system UI apk
Honestly u shpuld just redownload the file again and install it again

For the camera issue, try clearing cache and data for the camera app (done through Menu/Manage Apps/Camera).
Awesome. This totally fixed the camera. I appreciate the help.
If I make any changes via the VRTheme template, I'll let you know.
