Usually the first thing you should do after installing a new rom is prl and profile update. If that doesn't work try ##72786# from your dialer. It will reactivate the phone for you.

Had a feeling it was something simple, thank you so much for the prompt response.

After updating to 8.0 barebone, I noticed the GPS was not working as well as before. Symptom is with Google Nav or Waze, it takes a long time to get a GPS lock, which is very annoying when I'm trying to navigate in some unfamiliar neighborhood. Any solution?

Another thing is I seemed to lose the Google "Siri" when I said "OK google". I had the talk back apk still intact though.

Google Search and pretty much anything you can download from the Play Store is removed from Bare Bones.

Have you updated your Profile and PRL anytime recently? If not, try that. There are a few apps out there that can tell you more like GPS Status. You also need to remember that you won't get a good lock if you're in a low signal area or somewhere with a lot of trees/tall buildings/indoors/etc. Also make sure the screws on the back of the phone are nice and tight, seems trivial but it has solved GPS problems for a lot of people. And if none of that works, the next step would be to Odin stock to make sure it's not hardware related.

Screen Mirroring fail

Hello, I need help. I flashed Wicked X 8.0 to my sprint SPH-L710 galaxy s3, I love the rom. However, I am unable to connect screen mirroring. It connects on the TV but the phone shows failed to connect screen mirroring. I have downloaded the rom several times to see if it would correct itself. I've also tried chromecast and nothing works. I need assistance please.

I just got a PM from someone saying that they bought their S3 rooted running Wicked X... That is so awesome. People are selling their phones with Wicked X on it to raise the value lol.

OK I've screwed up I've been having trouble with my phone being sticky and freezing up a lot so I've been flashing like crazy trying to find a combination or the app that is causing it. Well I did a factory reset cleaning from recovery then realized I didn't have a ROM on my SD card. I've tried mounting the phone through recovery but it won't copy the file over. What is "side load" and could I use that?

If you have access to a computer download the ROM and copy it onto a microsd card. Then put the microsd card back into your phone and flash the rom

Also if you don't have access to a microsd card then you can Odin the stock nd8 and then start over

OK thanks, I've thought of those the problem is (until I get home anyway,I'm out of town for work) is I don't have a card reader and I'm running Linux on my laptop. I'll just get the Odin for Linux and do it through terminal I guess.

Oh yeah for some reason my phone doesn't ring anymore (when it was working) it just vibrates and tells me who is calling, I can't find the setting to fix that, anybody know where it is?

A little something, something, for those of you running Wicked Blue.
2 splash screens, and a video boot animation for those who wish to use them.

The boot animation flash will replace your original boot animation file in system/bin and your original boot animation zip in system/media. Back them up first before flashing if you wish to keep them.

These were all tested on my phone and worked correctly without any issues running Tribute 2.0.
You know the drill: Use at your own risk, not responsible for any damages that may occur from flashing, etc, etc, etc.
