Hey, give the man some props and hit the actual "thanks" button, instead of just saying it. He more than deserves it. Those add up.Thanks
Wipe the internal SD (/data/media). Lollipop encrypts data on the internal SD and causes a bootloop when flashing KitKat.Hey guys,
I'm trying to clash this rom and I'm getting stuck at the boot animation. I had stock Freedompop rom on it, wiped and updated to CM12.1 . On 12.1 I was having issues maintaining a network connection so wanted to try this. I wiped things per the first post and installed but can't seem to boot past the animation. Any ideas on what I can try to solve this?
You press on the post and there's a THANKS option at the top, it's a thumbs up if you are using Tapatalk.I was actually driving when I read that. I'm also using the app so I didn't know exactly where that Button was located.
No biggie, just a little something we can do for the devs that keep our favorite devices the envy of our non rooted friends (basically everyone I know looks at me like I'm a wizard because I root and flash roms, lol).I was actually driving when I read that. No, I no longer have this device. As for Gmail, no clue... I've always used the stock email. Try removing Google account and readding.I was getting the "stagefright" update but I disabled it. Is there a way to install it on this custom rom or just not worry about it?
Also my Gmail keeps closing. I updated Google services and reinstalled gmail. But it didn't fix it.
I believe I am doing this but still stuck at the animation.Wipe the internal SD (/data/media). Lollipop encrypts data on the internal SD and causes a bootloop when flashing KitKat.

Heres a zip to flash that will apply the available stagefright updatesI was getting the "stagefright" update but I disabled it. Is there a way to install it on this custom rom or just not worry about it?

Been using it a long time. It doesn't time out but if the tethering device makes a phone call or is utilizing the Internet, the device using the WiFi will stop the connection while the other device is being used. The tethered device has to be idle.Does anyone know if the Hotspot times out if it isn't being used?
Thanks, I just tried that a few times without success. I wonder what's keeping me. What recoveries/version are you folks using?Try to reboot recovery after wipes and before ROM flash. I have had to do that on some previous ROM/device before.

When you reboot to recovery dont use the option in recovery. Remove your battery or hold power down to shut it off before rebooting. Thanks, I just tried that a few times without success. I wonder what's keeping me. What recoveries/version are you folks using?
This zip is not working for me on NJ2. It "installs" without a problem in PhilZ. On reboot I still get the update warning.Heres a zip to flash that will apply the available stagefright updates

The notification and the Patch are two different things... long press on the notification, hit App Info, then uncheck Show Notifications. This zip is not working for me on NJ2. It "installs" without a problem in PhilZ. On reboot I still get the update warning.
