That's because I removed all the Samsung sync apks. Hold on I'll get them for you when I get home. You do know how to push apks to system/app right?

Oooohhh.... I didn't realize that lol... I remove them as soon as the phone boots ( don't need ANOTHER entity having access to ALL my data like google does...) Was just trying to help..... Guess that's what I get for trying lol :(

I've heard Titanium Backup leaves an .odex file somewhere that causes that.

It does.... Just use a root browser to go thru /data /app and /priv-apps to remove the .odex files for the apps you restore with titanium...... That will stop the upgrading screen from appearing on boot....... ATLEAST IN MY USE 9F THE APP THATS WHAT I DO.

also, it does not create one for every app... Just some..... And creates more in /app and priv-app than it does in data....

Again...this is from MY experience.

Just an FYI in case someone has this issue. I have set up 3 S3s from MK3 to ND8 dirty flashed 7.0 from 6.5 directly from USB/OTG w/o issue x one device where I had to move 7.0 to extSD and it flashed no problem. No idea why. Ghost in the machine I suppose.

Thank you @bilgerryan for the update and I'm sorry I haven't 5-starred it yet. Like the man said I've just been too busy tricking out 3 devices! "Honey can you make it do this?...or Dad can you make it do that?!"

What was it?

I switched to the stock kernel earlier and thats when i noticed it but i didnt really think nothing of it. So after trying a few different things i flashed back ktoonsez kernel and the problem was solved.

Wicked X LG G3 Keyboard

I thought I would share this with the Wicked X users. I themed this for the M8 but cnexus wanted a s3 version. Huge thanks to @CNexus for testing it out on the s3. Download and flash in recovery and as always......make a backup just in case.

**once keyboard is installed, go into kb settings/Keyboard height and layout and choose black theme for the Wicked theme.

***Huge thanks to enewman17 and his thread located HERE where i got the original unthemed ported version.

As always, have a backup ready before flashing in case anything goes wrong.

It may need a little work. i think cnexus is tracking down the trail swipe in smali. I kinda blind themed it for xhdpi and cnexus tested it for me.

But huge thanks TO YOU for taking the time to do it for me dazed. :good: g3 keyboard is complete now

I installed V7.0 this evening and I'm able to write to my sdcard0 and ext sd card, but I'm unable to change file permissions on the files on either drive. I've searched and the only issue I can find is the write issue, but not permissions. Thanks...

Why do you need to change file permissions on the sd card? You do that after you push it to system.
