One more question: after install gapps, this apps updates itself and install (or reinstall) others programs like Keep, Google Play Music. Google Keep steals almost 5MB, Google Play Musica almost 13MB. Are anyway to remove this apps ?

And the Google Search gets almost 41MB !

You can remove these even before flashing the gapps..

Open the gapps archive file. System -> apps..

Select the apk which you dont need, delete and save.

Flash Gapps without those apps.. Enjoy..

Help needed in changing kernel

My bro's NeoV battery drains way too fast with SJB 8.0+Fusion kernel 5.4....read some comments here for battery drain issue saying ,to try different kernel like lupus kernel.since i flashed the rom+kernel months back and use Moto Defy as my primary device ,i have fairly less experience in dealing with xperia phone. i cant find the step by step procedure to change kernel only, on the same rom.

Kindly help me to change NeoV[Haida's] kernel without any data wipes.

After enabling and disabling WIFI Hotspot, the battery discharges so fast. I have to restart every time after using WIFI Hotspot

Still this issue is present in SJB 8.0

Yes. I'm facing similar issue after transferring files using SuperBeam app. I've to reboot my phone to prevent battery drain.

I personally would like to author took up version of Super Jelly Bean based KitKat.

Right now , I am not working on this rom , because i do not have the device. I may get a friends phone next month or so but not fully sure about that. If i do get it , then I'd work on this rom or maybe a Kitkat version of it.

How this rom working for battery life? I search rom for good battery working.

Still after almost one year from the last update this is the best ROM for Neo V.I've tried every KitKat ROM but each one of them had a lot less RAM and I couldnt have more than 2-3 apps that were open constantly.Also the battery life was tragic in comparison with this one.I can run Despicable Me without any noticable lags whereas in KK I couldnt even start the game.

I really hope in an update!!!

Update won't be soon mate. The owner himself has declared about this in the previous page.

If u definitely need an update pls pray that the owner gets a HAIDA for further developments in this Rom.

but if it is to happen , it'd still be a 4.1.2 based jelly bean rom itself as I find that to be the most stable one out there(So no kitkat).
So What would you guys like to see in an update apart from bug fixes ?
Tbh I feel the rom is still pretty good apart from a few bugs..
So if you have any major changes in mind then let me know and I will look into it.

the main changes that we need are basically related to kernel like 410 mb ram . @miniuser123 already made a kernel with 720p recording and 410mb ram for mdpi devices cm10 . It would be great if you use his sources and implement the changes in kernel. :fingers-crossed:

- 720p video recording is important
- more internal space and ram will be very good
- compass on Map app need to fix
- new launcher if possible
