Hi guys. How can i show the multitasking bar in the notification area?
Great stuff as I seem to have issues flashing the battery mod_UOT_04_06_10_40_1.zip leaving me with a white screen with green HTC logo and nothing more. This one I assume has been tested om 3.6.1 D2EXT?
Any screen dumps to satisfy my curiousity?
Thanks,
Wizky
This post by Reef2009 (which I quoted on previous post) also covers the 'recent apps on notification menu' thing... please read and apply settings accordingly... ^_^
For this modding, it's all ok..now i try to modding the battery, but as i tell in the previous post there are some problems..
OK, many thanks, now it's all ok.....I've recently tried UOT Kitchen just to see if there's any problems modding RCMixHD 3.6.1 ROT D2EXT.
I would like to confirm that UOT Kitchen works with the rom. You just need to select 'RCMixHD V3.6 ROM on the 'kitchen's list' in the 'file upload' bit.
After flashing the generated zip through recovery (I didn't even need to mount any partitions.. >_<) I'm now using 'honeybread' theme for both battery & Icons... and also changed my font, and applied the 'fly in' window transition... which is pretty kewl! ^_^
PLS PLS PLS!!!! Very IMPORTANT!!
Something wrong with my phone!! I cant make calls! I mean I can start making a call but I cant hear anything only a low sound and if someone picks up and talk, I cant hear it. But if somebody calls me, everything is OK. So what is the problem??? I use 3.5 desensenized for months and it was fine. Maybe an issue with the ROM?
PLS help me!!!![]()
Hi Robocik,
the download of 3.6 is not avaible any more, can you fix it?
Can I "disable" the A2SD feature by not having an ext patition (I have not so many apps)?
Thx
I'm still having problem with calling when in 3G mode!!
I flashed new radio 3 times, but nothing changed!
Somebody HELP ME!! It makes me crazy!!!
Hey, I'm new to Android, just got a HTC Desire and flashed this ROM to it. It's great! Thanks!
I partitioned my 16gb memory chip like this: 10.08gb fat32, 2.93gb ext4, 1.54gb ext4, 376mb linux-swap.
Now everything seems to be working (can install tonnes of apps, 3g, wifi, gps, htcsense.com, etc), except for one thing (a huge thing):
If I click to reply or compose new text message, it says Storage full You don't have enough free space remaining in your phone's storage. Please delete some content or applications to make at least 750KB free space. Tap "Settings" below to manage your apps.
Interestingly, when I plug my phone into my linux laptop and load gparted, it shows 377mb/327mb/83mb used on the 3 data partitions, but when I try to access the 2.93gb ext4 partition, it says I don't have permissions.
Any ideas? Is there a way to entirely replace the HTC Text app? Perhaps it sees more than 2.0gb free and overflows an int32?
Ehm, I just installed 3.6.1 D2EXT (since my 3.4.1a was borked) and now there's no default Youtube app? And I can't seem to find it on the market either (loooooooads of other crap coming up :s)

You can use an Ubuntu live cd of GParted, or use it from within Ubuntu
1) Connect your phone to your computer (or use an SD Card adapter...., in this case skip to 4)
2) Pull down the notification bar and mount the phone
3) Start Gparted
4) Gparted will search available drives. (Your phone should show up as a USB drive, and will be something like /dev/sdb1 or /dev/sdc1, etc..)
Warning: double-check you've not selected a hdd by mistake!
5) In the upper right corner, select the correct USB device for your phone. (i.e. check to make sure it is correct size for your SD card)
6) Right click on each partition and select 'unmount'
7) Right click on each partition and select 'delete'
If you know what you are doing, you can re-size the partitions and add a new 2nd partition formatted as ext2/3/4
8) Right click on the big gray bar (should say unallocated x.xx gb) and click 'new'
9) Enter configurations
Free Space preceding = 0
Create as = Primary
New size = [don't touch]
File system = fat32
Free Space Following = 512 (or whatever you want)
10) Click add
11) Right click on the big gray bar (should say unallocated x.xx gb) and click 'new'
12) Enter configurations
Free Space preceding = 0
Create as = Primary
New size = [don't touch]
File system = ext2/3/4 (recommend ext4)
Free Space Following = 0 (or ~32 if you want swap)
Click add
13) Click edit, then 'Apply All Operations' to write changes to disk
14) Quit GParted
15) Unmount your SD Card
16) Reboot your phone
