Keyboard question

DK 4.2 is working great for me so far - sleeping like a baby.

But I have a question about the DK 4.2 keyboard. It doesn't seem to have symbols available on the main keys with a long press. Wasn't this in DK 4.1? Is there a switch somewhere I haven't looked that turns it on? I could be mistaken.

You can enable keyboard symbols through wanam xposed. Are you sure xposed framework is turned on? You sometimes have to re-install it after a ROM upgrade.

I just got my note 3 a few days ago and I flashed this rom & gpe theme today.All I have to say is THIS IS THE BEST ROM I have ever installed on an Android device seriously!!! It's flawless. The developer is one bad mutha. Much props!!!!

Lol well I have a extra 64 on the side ... so I decide to try and the phone doesn't even read the card ???

I just hid the carrier labels. Like I said, I really don't care about them. I usually used the status bar label for my rom. So when I screenshot it shows the rom I am running. Kind of my way of showing off DK and advertising it as well. I believe it probably has to do with 3minit. Maybe it doesn't like wanam. Either way, just not worthy of the time to investigate.

Carrier label may be my fault, I changed the color value to transparent to get rid of the small pixel. Have you tried changing color of the text?

I get UI force closes if I freeze or uninstall 3 minit. Is that expected behavior?
Happened even after a fresh install like this:

• Wipe system/data/caches | install 4.2 DK | install GPE | install GPE color | log into Play | Install Titanium | Uninstall 3 minit.

Oh, and I can't get rid of the stock battery. But I'm guessing that's something to do with 3 minit and I'll have to reflash and leave 3 minit in, then remove battery via 3 minit app?

Sorry, but 3minit is needed. You can hide the icon in 3minit settings.

This elusive gap is gonna kill me :laugh: I dont have the gap, some others dont have the gap. SOME people have a gap. There has to be a commonality here. Can people with the issue tell us what modules or status bar mods are being used?
That is where the network indicator lives. if you turn it on, does the gap go away?

Symbols are control by CSC. Wanam is the worst when it comes to CSC. Anyhow, I also believe wanam can fix the issue.

Dialer is not MultiDPI. I suggest using xposed and app settings module to keep dialer at stock DPI

@bri315317 it does go away but I use the network speed indicator which does the same thing but places itself next to the WiFi icon. So I wouldn't like to have that enabled [emoji13]. Let me try some Wanam tricks.

Alright, what is the stock DPI of the ROM? I though it was 480 but changing the dialer app to this didn't fix it.
