Thx for the fast reaction on the simcard bug. For my device the simcard is recognized correctly with the 27.12.17 build.

with twrp < 3.2.1 my device gets random crashes, twrp itsel starts a reboot cycle after few seconds. to prevent this endless reboot i was forced to usb flashing, because every reflash try from sd card was interrupted by reboot :( -> try 3.2.1, this works at last for my yuga device.
Hello man, may I ask you, I have TWRP 2.8.7 flashed into FOTA partition (previously I had had troubles with switching between LOS and RR so this was the solution), is it gonna be ok?

I made an idle test to check system drain.
I charged battery to 100% and I calibrated stats with an app. Then I left it in airplane mode for 12 hours.
Device lost only 2% :cowboy:
I replaced naptime with greenify magisk module to get rid of background running apk notification.
I will test idle drain with network on later on.

Hi all and Happy New Year!
I clean flashed latest build and Pico Open Gapps. Rooted with Magisk 15.1. I only had a few troubles moving TWRP from 3.0.2 to 3.2.1.
ROM looks fine so far, I will test it better later on. @Daedroza: here are the first feedback:
- UI is smoother than latest LOS 14.1. By the way, I tweaked a little the Interactive governor using Kernel Adiutor.
- I cannot find advanced reboot option in developer options, any suggestion?
- I found that 4G network is enabled by default in dev options, it may cause some battery drain.
- File manager is linked directly to download folder, if I want to browse the entire device folders I must pass from
Settings, please could you fix it or it is an Oreo feature?
- Security patch is still the November one.
- Auto brightness makes the screen quite dark, I disabled it.

how do you change ur twrp ?

When in twrp 3.0.2 go to "install" and flash the zip.
Once flashed go back (don't reboot) to twrp home screen and tap on "reboot"
In reboot menu, tap on reboot recovery.

If in trouble, unpack twrp.img and flash twrp 3.2.1 in FOTAKernel using terminal. you must be rooted.
Rename file as "twrp" only and place in the root of your device storage (not in download or any other folder), then give the command:
su
dd if=/sdcard/twrp.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/FOTAKernel

reboot recovery

I actually don't know how to help further
When flashing 3.2.1 from terminal, do you have any output? If you give command reboot recovery from terminal what happen? Could you try to press volume+ during blue led on?
Last resort, try flashing Oreo ROM using 3.0.2

Latest build: 20180106
- Staging Branch (Lineage 15.1) / Android 8.1.0
- Oreo Tiles / Oreo Lock Screen Art / Oreo Visualizer (Under Development, might work incorrectly)
- January 2018 Security Patch (Device specific patches are still remaining as of yet).
- Many other device specific improvements (Brought by Chippa_a / CyberWalkMaN, please look at device trees)
- Removed accidental security patch that brought NULL pointer dereference (surprised no body encountered it yet).

The overall experience is smoother when all the optimizations settles-in.

I won't be building for sometime (until something important drops in like new security patch or something worthwhile to bring in feature).

Give a try to 3.0.2.
Make a clean flash and backup before wiping data.
If flashing goes wrong, it won't harm your device.
Latest option, reflash last stock firmware and restart from scratch. Keep bootloader unlocked.

Latest build: 20180106...
Clean flash required?
EDIT: Silly me. Oreo 8.1 requires specific Gapps.
I downloaded some unofficial OpenGapps from https://cloud.kenzoroms.club/?dir=opengapps/20180106/arm
Wiped cache, dalvik and data in TWRP and flashed ROM, Gapps and latest Magisk for root.

On reboot I had tons of FC during setup, it could be due to Gapps, in doubt try some different ones like
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=817906626617953520 or
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1aHAWTK5qmsD7r18CRmiCTaB7Bkan0ctX

If setup stucks at "verifying information" tap back to wi fi section and restart setup.
Once booted, ROM is fine, even better than 8.0 one.

Though I don't support anything else than OpenGApps, you could use these: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/app-minimal-gapps-gapps-lp-20150107-1-t2997368

Or simply download any OpenGApps package and open it using a Zip program.
Open "installer.sh" and change req_android_sdk & req_sdk_version to 27 and 8.1.0
