Hi guys,
I've just used the built in updater to update the latest nightly.
When came to reboot & install the phone only booted up to TWRP but doesn't run the installation script.
Is this correct?
I have other phones that boot to TWRP, install then reboot to system automatically.

Agreed.
No need to touch the hardware, unless you're 100% sure it's software related.

As I've said in the past, the TopNTP app (available in the play store, needs root though) is a good option to try and resolve any gps.conf issue. Just follow the instructions and flash their default choice. Solved all my issues with the GPS in LOS 14.

Lol here's an update, the app works, but I have top keep installing the GPS.conf file from the app every time I use it.. Why won't it save? Any idea?

I get the "no sim" error on the 8/29 build, both dirty flashing and clean flashing. I've had to move to an AOSP ROM as Lineage just refuses to see my working sim card.

can you help me ?
im running RRN with stock lineage kernel i tried to enable fast charge but could not find it i tried Lspeed and kernel auditor
RRN by vidwhal
stock lineage kernel
N9005

Someone explained that you have to use Synergy Kernel for fast charging. As you may have read, on latest LOS build bluetooth is broken with Synergy kernel.
So it's your choice: bluetooth vs fast charging ;)

+1 on LTE / connection dropping, as well as an audio notification when it happens that I can't for the life of me figure out how to disable.

IMU sensors broken on 8/29 with stock kernel (ie. no auto-rotation). LTE/modem issue present on 8/16 with/without Synergy-R18.

8/29 also broke 5ghz wifi for me.

Looks like it's not n9005 specific, though, so hopefully there are lots of eyes on it. Fingers crossed!

On the plus side, battery life is freakin' fantastic.

fattire just posted a comment in ripee's ROM thread for the Note 4 which seems to suggest it's a Lineage-wide issue:

fattire said:
So the tmo simcard issue is being addressed. We've narrowed it to a few commits. Stay tuned. Also, to whoever was asking about how to build this for tmo I think, I'll post a roomservice.xml file once this is sorted out.

He goes on to suggest short term fixes for developers, saying they're on the trail and it should get fixed before too much longer. Lots of Lineage users reporting SIM recognition or connection dropping problems with recent builds for a few devices.

    V0.3 - Major Update!

    A lot more things working
    Including but not limited to:
Flashlight, camera, Calling (NEEDS TESTING - I do not have a sim card that works in this device right now, can people please report back), autorotate

I am not responsible for any damage to your device etc, you are choosing to flash this file!

Grab the V0.3 update here! (only on android file host right now, too late to upload everywhere right now)

I am still not saying this is a daily driver though. I still have very little time and if i get flooded with eta requests and bug reports right now it really does hurt motivation. If you find a bug you think i wont know about (it isnt obvious or it doesnt exist in previous cm13 roms) you are welcome to report however that doesn't mean i will fix it/give a timescale on a fix.

I have not updated the OP as it is 3:30 AM here and i have uni today. Whenever I get chance I will update it.

PS not sure if mobile data / cell data is working, can people please report back :)

    Have a good day!

Also make sure you do a clean flash!

Well i know that asking for eta is just rude and unrespectfull for the developer but now it has been like 1 month or less since the last alpha build maybe you should rename the the thread to [onhold] or maybe [paused]
Am not trying to be disrespectful for the dev in fact i apreaciate his time but 1 month without any updates need to be called onhold or somth because alot of people will come and ask for etaS

Its been 2 weeks, not a month. I said on twitter I'm taking 2 weeks off and I have.

I am a university student, I do this for free. I do not have much time. The university year just started, and as you can imagine I am focusing on that rather than this.

My education will always come first.

Friendly reminder: I do not work for you.
