Yeah, serial number (ro.serialno) is not set in our kernel. We may be able to copy this function from another kernel if someone knows of one that works.
Thanks a million, MEN!!! Hope, this will help not only me.Great!
Thank you!

Greetings from Brazil!
There is a bug in the kernel I believe.
I dont have problem as you said, everything normal, except battery use, been using alroger build for 3 days, coming from cdesai 20120611 experimental p1 kernel test with only do a wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache when flashing to alroger 20120615 build.I've got random reboots on Alroger's 20120615 download.
Same apps installed as before, did a clean install. Several wipes and dalvik-clears.
Any idea?
Hi, Humberto! Unfortunately something is wrong yet. From now system shows 16-digit S/N while it really has (on the back of my Tab) 11 symbols. And now S/N has nothing common with real one. Can you fix it? S/N itself is contained in nv_data.bin.Great!
Thank you!

Hey dude,Hey guys,
Could anybody share information of general settings giving best speed values please?
(e.g
- Surface dithering (on)
- 16bit ttansparency (on)
- Force gpu rendering (on)
- Chainfire (on) (Nvidia selected)
- Cpu speed interval 200-1200mHz
- Cpu governor (ondemand)
- SDCard read/write speed : 1024KB
- Display Resolution : 160 dpi
- Memory management (on)
- Wallpaper apk files for a bigger ram(removed by a root unistaller program)
- Font size (??)
So that we 'll find a good combination of settings for best performance.
(also announcing antutu scores)

Suppose I am wrong but the simpliest way is to read it from nv_data.bin (or even from some txt fileOk!
I will check it soon!
Thanks!

Ok! NP!Suppose I am wrong but the simpliest way is to read it from nv_data.bin (or even from some txt file) and push it to the system... as a variant.
Hey dude!Disclaimer: I searched as best I could think of and couldn't come up with an answer.
Question: I have a Tmobile tab running the latest build of Te4m CM9 and the audio out doesn't seem to work with the HDMI dock. I bought the HDMI dock and a second charger off of amazon to use as an alarm clock and wanted to plug into nicer speakers. When I dock it actually doesn't even recognize that its docked. Is there some setting that I need to enable for it to know I will be docking it? I did a clean install last week of everything so I think I have it installed right.
thank you in advance!
I am getting this error when I try to make repo init -u git://github.com/sgt7/android.git -b ics
fatal: manifest 'default.xml' not available
fatal: duplicate project platform/external/collada in /home/jpmr/cm9/.repo/manifests/default.xml
Can someone help me? cheers.
Hi alroger, your last build 20120615 battery use is drain too fast (4th-5th hours on moderate use), had revert back to previous build (20120608)I tested it on my last 2 builds. Couldn't reproduce it.
