Yeah, serial number (ro.serialno) is not set in our kernel. We may be able to copy this function from another kernel if someone knows of one that works.
Thanks a million, MEN!!! Hope, this will help not only me. :D

There is a bug in the kernel I believe.
I've got random reboots on Alroger's 20120615 download.
Same apps installed as before, did a clean install. Several wipes and dalvik-clears.

Any idea?
I dont have problem as you said, everything normal, except battery use, been using alroger build for 3 days, coming from cdesai 20120611 experimental p1 kernel test with only do a wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache when flashing to alroger 20120615 build.

Been using it for a couple weeks... update it once every sunday... lately it feels faster, but the battery gets hot easily, if I use it constantly like typing notes in seminar or browsing when the GSM signal is low...
It scan Wifi Signal very fast but I think not so good for GSM signal... whenever I'm on GSM its hard to connect to The Play Store.

Thanks for Developer Team... I like this ICS ROM :D

Speed Optimization Hints&Tricks

Hey guys,
Could anybody share information of general settings giving best speed values please?
(e.g
- Surface dithering (on)
- 16bit ttansparency (on)
- Force gpu rendering (on)
- Chainfire (on) (Nvidia selected)
- Cpu speed interval 200-1200mHz
- Cpu governor (ondemand)
- SDCard read/write speed : 1024KB
- Display Resolution : 160 dpi
- Memory management (on)
- Wallpaper apk files for a bigger ram(removed by a root unistaller program)
- Font size (??)
So that we 'll find a good combination of settings for best performance.
(also announcing antutu scores)
I could reach upto 3336 once, but noticed some of us could reach even higher scores but how?? :)
Cheers,:)

Disclaimer: I searched as best I could think of and couldn't come up with an answer.

Question: I have a Tmobile tab running the latest build of Te4m CM9 and the audio out doesn't seem to work with the HDMI dock. I bought the HDMI dock and a second charger off of amazon to use as an alarm clock and wanted to plug into nicer speakers. When I dock it actually doesn't even recognize that its docked. Is there some setting that I need to enable for it to know I will be docking it? I did a clean install last week of everything so I think I have it installed right.

thank you in advance!

Bork that directory, or atleast everything in /home/jpmr/cm9/.repo except the projects the folder.
Then start fresh, repo init again, and then sync

O wait
