The CM updater gets the path wrong to the internal data partition. It'll reboot into there, and then you'll have to navigate to /cmupdater and install the zip. I've never got the CM updater to work on TWRP, Rogue or any other recovery I've tried. Just one of those things, I think!

I get the feeling that the old CM10 problem of running out of space on /system is causing all these problems with FCs / tiles not showing, etc.
I uninstalled terminal emulator from the system partition, then installed it to data from the play store, and it works fine. Running df I get 348k free space on system. So, that means that before I uninstalled terminal, it was completely full up.
I'm using gapps 121212 (from goo.im), but this is obviously no good. Will reinstall system, and use EOS gapps, as they fixed it on CM10 - see if that sorts it...

OK, have installed EOS gapps, and now have 33Mb free in /system.
swipy keyboard now works.
terminal still doesn't, nor does a number of games, as before.
photosphere doesn't, but I don't know if it worked on the official gapps.
So, slight improvement.
EOS gapps are here, if anyone wants to try:
