Well here it is, CyanogenMod 7. A community built distribution of Android 2.3.2 (Gingerbread), which can be used without any GApps whatsoever. Huge thanks to Cyanogen and the entire CM team for making this possible. You guys rock.

This thread is just to let you guys know about Nightlies, when CM7 reaches RC stage, it will be updated.

Instructions:
*Make sure your phone is rooted with clockwork mod recovery installed.
*Boot into recovery and Wipe Data/Factory Reset
*Format /system under partitions menu
*Install the ROM.zip
*Optionally install the GApps package.

    Moderating Team Input

This thread has been reported multiple times for multiple violations of our rules. There also seems t be a deliberate attempt to take the thread off track, which is not acceptable. The thread has been cleaned of approximately 50 posts that had no relevance whatsoever to the thread topic.

The people who take the time and trouble to develop on XDA do it in their own time and for free. No one has the right to demand anything off them. Any attempt at doing so is simply trolling and will be actioned accordingly.

Naturally we would like to give everyone the opportunity to carry on the technical discussions that relate to this rom, provided they remain on topic and on track. If that fails, we have several options to progress as follows:

    - Close and trash the thread.
    - Ban persistent abusers of our rules.
    - Do both.

The next steps are entirely in your hands. We look forward to your cooperation and assistance.

Can we thank those people who reported this thread, allowing us to intervene. Please report any further violations so we may take appropriate action.
