INSTRUCTIONS

Requirements:
▪ Clockworkmod Recovery (See note below)
▪ Radio 2.x
▪ hboot 0.92 Recommended (See post #635 for hboot 0.92 and instructions)
▪ A Full Wipe Highly Recommended! (Required if this is the first version you are installing)
NOTE: Will not flash over a stock Froyo 2.2 Rooted ROM.

Copy ROM to root of the SDCARD
Either use ROM Manager (Preferred with Wipe) to install it or boot into recovery and install it that way

NOTE: Be patient on first boot since it may sit for a few minutes at the Droid Eye

DISCLAIMER: As usual, flash at your own risk and don't forget to backup your current installation before flashing.

ClockWorkMod Recovery: Now that most people are on ClockWorkMod 3 I will only be creating CWM3 versions.

Version 6.3 for ClockWorkMod v3.0.0.7 >> Direct Download
MD5 = b33f747432cdd93b11ef820592dee722

IMPORTANT: Flash over v4..x or 5.x of this ROM works fine. For a fresh install you must be using CWM v3.0.0.7+ with ROM Manager or alternatively wipe in recovery, then install/choose zip from SD Card

RULE OF THUMB: If you flash over and have lags or FC's or things just don't work the flash again with a complete wipe

Interesting....

Is this based off the Desire Z port? Any hints as to what you might be changing? :)
Yup it is.

All I have really done was add my Business Sense theme, apps and some of it's related mods.

I am also releasing v1.1 with the stack Froyo 2.2+ kernel since it fixes a few things like sync animation. Will post more when I fill the first post.

Do you mind to kindly look through that thread and notice what kind of issues people are having in that ROM, and try to fix those in your release?

Thanks! :D

I have been following that thread since day 1. From all reports from my v1 all is working except the CamCorder.

Replacing the ported kernel with the stock HTC kernel fixed a few things.

Can you think of things you are specifically interested in.

Yea I have using that ROM for a few days now.

Few things to note:

1) really laggy and even freeze up when installing apps.

Minor:
1) In the call, top left says "unknown", it should be Verizon Wireless.
2) HTC Sense launcher would force close once in a while, but I haven't noticed it since I changed the kernel
3) It rebooted when I was charging and streaming music, again this could be kernel related.

Thanks!

I have not niticed the lag when installing.

The first one of the minor I forgot about. The kernel seems to fix 2 and 3.

Also, does your internal memory mount when connecting to PC?

I will try out your ROM in a bit, to see if the lag only happens in Incdoes' ROM maybe not in yours.

Do you think I can just flash your ROM on top of IncDoes' without wiping?

This is exactly the right direction to take the Z port in. Always thought the Z port will become the base ROM for work from Nils/Incubus/Lou/Skyraider/bored because of the extra features in the base ROM, htcsense.com, speed advantages compared to the official verizon RUUs.

Good work, sir! Will be flashing it very shortly.

For me, its battery life. I don't know what it is about the rom, but it murders my battery. It is so difficult, since i love the updated sense, but having a ~60% battery drop overnight really kills it for me..

I am getting the same battery life with this ROM as I did with my Incredible Business Sense ROM with the stock Incredible Kernel.

There are a lot more things syncing so I turned everything off except weather and activsync mail

Anybody try Picture MMS, I was using the Desire-Z rom and it wasn't working for sending and would assume this would have the same issue. Anybody tested it or could let me know?
