What the f......... how camera works in oreo? who is this guy and it's source code? If xiaomi don't release the sources we have a chance of a stable Lineage OS 15.1!

Finally stable oreo for Santoni.. Tried this Rom(16/1 build). Its really stable. Every thing is working as mentioned in cm15.1 thread. Battery backup is also looks like great. No heating issues.
Only thing i am not satisfied is, I am unable to add google account after setup wizard. Installed pico gapps from the link given in cm15.1 thread. Can anyone suggest better gapps for 8.1.0 which is bugless..

Try gzr gapps, i'm using it and google account login runs normal Link

Already tried.. I am not getting any force close. Its just stoping(keep on going) at "Checking device". Kept for 5mins, still its keep on going "checking device". Tried micro gapps also(kenzoroms). Tried to login from playstore,settings etc etc. 1 thing i observed is maybe after flashing magisk 15.3, i am getting this behaviour. without magisk, Rom is working perfectly.. Maybe it is bcoz of magisk or soundmod(quasor-atmox or viperdd+). Will try gzr-gapps also.
Anyway ghost is great. They made this rom stable. Kudos to ghost team.

Using twrp for oreo
Wipe/advance wipe system data cache cust
Install rom + gapps
Reboot
Seting up device
After that
Reboot to twrp then flash magisk 15.3 all working without any crash

I just had the exact same problem. It's magisk. You have to setup the rom first then flash magisk.

Turn off phone completely. Hold in the vol+ and vol- buttons then the power button. All three yes. When you feel vibration release only the power button. Keep vol+ and vol- held until booted into recovery.

Also, don't be scared if charging icon won't show up when you connect phone to the cable. It charges, the icon just won't change.

As it was mentioned, Magisk must be installed AFTER first reboot and setting up google account. I had to install Team Ghost twrp, cause latest original one made my sdcard readonly. Reboot to recovery doesn't work at all, neither from rom, or recovery itself. You have to hold volume buttons at the same time and press power button till phone vibrates, then release power button.

Dind't work for me: Camera won't show up if double click power button, weather on lockscreen won't show up. Battery icon won't change on charging. Yes, there is some scroll lag, but not significant.

Works fast, battery lifetime "is not bad", ~1%/h at night with wifi/cellular on.
