Sailfish OS (also styled as SailfishOS or abbreviated to SFOS) is a mobile operating system combining the Linux kernel for a particular hardware platform use, the open-source Mer core middleware, a proprietary UI contributed by Jolla, and other third-party components.
It's a beautiful OS developed by the Jolla and the mer team. The UI is totally guesture based. So say good bye to your boring Android navigation bar. The OS is fast and butter smooth with zero lags. This is a totally new experience and certainly a delightful one from the same old boring mundane Android which has had almost the same UI since 5.0 .
Flashing process:
Note! This has to be flashed over PAC ROM 6.0.1!!!
1. Wipe cache, dalvik cache, system, data.
2. Download PAC ROM 6.0.1
3. Download Sailfish OS 2.2
4. Flash PAC ROM first. Then flash sailfish OS. Gapps is not required.
5. Wait for some time. It doesn't have a boot animation so it will stay on the bootlogo for a while.
6. Restart the device after booting the device once.
Bugs :
Please note that this is a beta release.
1. Browser doesn't work (temporary solution: download a 3rd party browser from openrepos.net)
2. Camera. (Will be fixed in next build)
3. Proximity Sensor.
4. Unable to view pictures.
1. Recording Issues.
I am really Sorry. I know I am Late
Here is an almost stable built for you
Everything else works. (Calling, texting, wifi, mobile data, dual SIM)
Please note that this not an Android OS! Android apps are not supported. I'm trying to add support but cannot guarantee anything. You can try dual booting.
If you liked my work, please support me.
