bezke unnoficial is much better, my redmi temp is not as hot as official

This is btw. the 3 ROM from this developer that is better than the official.

Does this ROM have legacy app scaling support? I searched 'full screen' in settings and it shows the option, but the toggles revert back to 'disabled' everytime I switch them on.

Try to disable tap to wake. Works for me, now i have 90% deep sleep over night.
