Power menu won't show extra ra options like advanced reboot etc. On latest weekly. Clean flashed. Anyone got the bixby button working for googlw assistant like in evolution x?
How to update?
Original Question:
I am using version X.X.X, and when I click on install update in updater, my phone boots into TWRP Recovery and nothing happens even tho that recovery is compatible with this rom. How can I update manually without loosing data?
Edit 1:
I have found the solution. To update to new version without having to wipe data (continue to use your apps and settings without setting up the phone all over again).
1. Download update in updater
2. Press and hold on update window and select export
3. Locate the exported RR zip in storage and remember its location.
4. Boot into TWRP recovery
5. Backup System, data and boot partitions (in case something goes wrong)
6. Wipe Dalvik/Art cache and Cache
7. Flash exported RR zip
8. Reboot

In case of bootloop, go into recovery and delete magisk modules and reinstal them afterwards thru magisk manager app.

Yeah this is the bug. RR said they fixed it, I also added some overlays but still didn't work. So maybe on their side
You can always restart in recovery mode through the QS tile.
It should work as long as you follow the steps properly. I use gcam on my phone and works awesome. Join the device group chat in telegram and pull up #zgcam on notes to know how to flash the Gapps lib config properly.
I use oldee version. 5.1. U can use zgcam look fir it on telegram. Standard version doesn't alliw the front cam to work but there is a workaround.
I pendding a day to look around zgcam tele group and now have lastest zgcam with front and back camera work well
Just problem with capture no hdr not working
I have it installed but my system and vendor isn't mounted. Cant push libb files in the vendor folder. I use the wont rev3..... Xml for front cam but nightsight doesn't work on that profile.
i was looking for a positive comment like this.
What about the camera??? I tried an aosp rom a while back and had to leave because the samsung camera is just better at low light. Even tried gcam with the presets.
Also, in the edge bar there is a crop screenshot button which is very easy and fast to select an area of the screen and share. Didnt find good alternatives on the play store.
i think the front cam wasnt working on gcam too.
ALso will this have AOD?
Battery life is awesome on touchwiz too. I disabled all bixby and samsung apps with root and added the boxby button as a torch.

coming from latest DR Ketan Rom. wiped system and data. stuck in bootloop after installing

WIped and flashed again. its booting now.
Everything working good but how to get the front cam to work on gcam. I have the cam and I have the libs. the issue is im unable to change the permissions on the system/vendor/lib folder. Tried on root explorer and es file explorer and xplore. not working. also tried in twrp file manager and theres nothing in the lib folder. Any ideas?
Join the telegram group and check for #zgcam note. In there, i have showed a tutorial on how i mounted the system and vendor. I'm using a lib zgcam and works for me!
Just don't seem to get system mounted, tried emulator and twrp. Can select system in mount when in twrp but see no swipe handle at the bottem. Twrp 3.3.1
