Welcome to DarkRoom Development, the home for DespairOS​

DespairOS is based on 7.1.2 with full Substratum OMS 7 support. This ROM is tweaked with Bionic & Art optimizations & built with UBERTC.


Flashing Instructions:
1. Have latest Bootloader/Radio/TWRP Recovery installed.
2. Flash ROM/Vendor and recommended Dynamic Gapps.
3. *Flash Kernel
4. *Flash Root
5. Profit...

Nexus 5X=Phasma Kernel

Basic Features:
Notification and battery LED
Night Light Brightness
Advanced Reboot

Already running this from day one. Mighty impressed with smoothness and stability.

Thanks for the rom. With the stock kernel is very laggy and slow. Now i try to flash a custom kernel @mrturcot

Edit: I flashed phasma r50 but it's still laggy and slow

I haven't got any lag.
It's been running butifully since the first build.

Any specific apps you noticed the lag?

Was laggy since the configuration in first boot. I didn't install anything and i did all wipe except internal

You probably encountered thermal throttling.
You should have given it few minutes.
I would say, never judge a ROM within first few minutes or even hours after flashing.

Great to see flat lines in battery stats.

Haven't seen something like this on Bullhead for long.

I'm using 13/05 + Beans GApps +Superuser.

No issues. You can try Magisk. I don't have AP where I stay.

Thanks. I just used beans gapps. Used magisk and Android pay. Everything is working. Good to go :good:

i am on latest 5/13, beans gapps mini, but installed super su first then magisk. now android pay isnot working, so how can uninstall super su, and make it work?


i tried dirty flash rom, didnt work..
least option is clean flash, just checking any other way to make it work?


EDIT::: running uninstall super SU script and installing magisk now its working...
