Welcome to DarkRoom Development, the home for DespairOS​

DespairOS is based on 7.1.2 with full Substratum OMS 7 support. This ROM is tweaked with Bionic & Art optimizations & built with UBERTC.


Flashing Instructions:
1. Have latest Bootloader/Radio/TWRP Recovery installed.
2. Flash ROM/Vendor and recommended Dynamic Gapps.
3. *Flash Kernel
4. *Flash Root
5. Profit...

As I installed kam v2 to take a look at the kernel, I noticed that cpu is oc to 2054, may add this to op, but battery does fine so far. :good: really like this rom, safteynet pass with no problems, arise viper runs enforced. Nice!

Runs with f2fs with kylo kernel on my device. Don't know if stock kernel supports f2fs. As i tried rom didn't start after 5 to 7 minutes booting... Then i changed to kylo and all is fine.. Maybe i was stock kernel not giving enough time to boot. BTW great rom and thanks to the dev!

With Nougat I believe only the kernel can be built with UBERTC, the ROM is built with clang, right?

There are parts that are still built with GCC.

Stock kernel is Kylo, I didn't add the fstab into the rom, that might be why

I did the same and mine boots with no issues. Check your vendor partition please.

Kernel auditor is what I've always used. Some people use the paid app from flar2. Ex kernel manager
