Sorry for the delay folks, I've been distracted. This update brings in latest security patch (June) plus improved performance and a new feature, Dashboard Options (In Settings/Display).

I dirty flashed without issues, but removed all theme overlays first. IF you have problems, remove overlays with Substratum, and/or do a clean install.

I dirty flashed it without removing overlays and it worked fine, BUT Every setup and theme is different so what worked for me might not work for others

2 questions;

1 - we use ARM, 7.1 gapps for this device, correct?
2 - If we're currently stock (unlocked only), it's as simple as rom then gapps, correct (any special kernel or radio packages need to be flashed)?

1- A: Yes, correct.
2- A: No you don't have, but any issues with GPS do a flash of clean_modem_status. zip (if you want the link for download only search here in the thread)

One last follow up question;
Is there a guide somewhere to getting magisk installed so I can use android pay with this rom? (not going to be rooted, don't care about that, just need to hide unlocked).

This ROM is rooted, I built it that way. I don't use Magisk (or Android Pay, for that matter), and have no idea if it will install and/or work properly. Maybe someone else can provide you with more info...

My Turbo is Toast...

So much for "unbreakable screen", my Turbo took a nose dive into the pavement yesterday and it is now derped beyond repair. I suppose I could try to get a new screen for it, but, I'm not at this time. I've had it almost 3 years, need to move on to a different device, I think.

I'll keep the AOKP updates coming, as long as my testers are still available, but I won't be able to test ROMs myself.

No case, I was on the roof of my house, when I pulled it out to check the time, it slipped out of my hand and went all the way down. So, it fell about 15 feet, give or take

Well in my opinion, Pixel XL is the best of these two. I don't trust LG anymore after LG G3 and LG G4.

I ended up getting the Pixel, but it's locked down, so I'll most likely return it (and just buy one from Gooble)

So far, no, you cannot root or unlock the bootloader. I really dislike VZW, but it's my only option...
