True fact. I'm hoping that the marshmallow modems play better with the nougat roms than the lollipop modems do. That would be awesome.Quark don't have to be on it, we've got it already![]()

Many improves, including new "Nougat" kernel from @bhb27. More stable, and great battery life, this ROM is more solid than ever :good:
Link in the OP has been updated, or you can get it Here
Dirty Flashing worked for me, but please do a clean install before posting any problems.
Happy Flashing,
Nepo
EDIT:
Even though I'm sure everyone is running RR but me, lol
Wow, screwed the pooch on that one (I think I deleted it, lol). I've got a new build running now, and I'll upload that in a bit...First of all very big "thank you" :good: for all the devs for all the hardwork to provide latest android version for quark devices. For some reason I am not able to download the Dec-02 build from the link. Can you please check. For now i am downloading the 11-28 build.
Thanks again for the hard work.
depends on your gappsI'm having trouble getting (or maybe it just doesn't work altogether) Google now voice detection working from any screen aside from the Google app, there doesn't seem to be a option to turn on "anywhere detection" either. Bug or feature?
I agree , thats why i posted it as not a rom bugAll these ROMs are CM based, so the issue could be with the source code. However, if Skype works and messenger don't, that tells me its messenger, lol
When I get time, lol. Most of it's done between Sunday and Monday (I don't work on Mondays), my job keeps me up a lot, so I always find time to stop by XDA :good:
Wipe cache, system, dalvik/art cache. Reflash ROM + GAPPS + any other mods that change /system (SU, Pixel Dialer, etc.).@NepoRood: What is the correct way to dirty flash?
I had the ROM prior to Dec 2 build date; on top of it, I flashed the Dec 2 update and it wiped my Play Store, Pixel Dialer, etc. Then I went again in the TWRP and flashed the ROM & GApps Pico together (same version which was initially flashed with clean rom) - dirty flash. The ROM booted but with lots of Google based apps errors. Then I went ahead and clean flashed the Dec 2 build with GApps Pico.
You're releasing newer versions very fast and it is difficult to keep up as this is my daily driver...and I prefer to stay updated on your releases...
I just flash the ROM + GApps at same time and reboot, sometimes flash the clean modem zip as well. I don't use a lot of extra stuff, lol. @drizzzzzz has a different technique I see, by wiping everything except data, I'm sure that works as well but I've never done it that way.@NepoRood: What is the correct way to dirty flash?

Ambient Display works fine for me, the obvious question: Do you have it turned on, under Settings/Display. As for status bar, I have no idea, mine doesn't go away, lol, I've tried several things to make it do so...I have a couple of quick questions. Does the ambient display work? No matter the settings, I cannot get it to work. The green indicator light does come on, though.
The second question is, the status bar disappears by sliding up so it is no longer visible. Is there a setting that I cannot find that keeps it from doing this? When I say status bar, I am referring to the top bar that displays the clock, battery percentage, signal strength, etc.
Thx, Frank.
