Not sure if I'm the only one with this problem but I seem to have lost superuser/root access? After installing the first version of this ROM I realized that nothing root-wise works anymore. I keep getting denied superuser access for all root apps. Strange... I tried both superuser and supersu both without success. Also I can't boot into recovery to reinstall or even have tablet booted into bootloader whi plugged into my computer to try rebooting into recovery that way it gets stuck there. Any ideas about this?

Interesting... What's the best kernel to use? Not interested in overclocking, but would like the most robust, smooth and fast kernel... less lag, things like that...

Recommendations?

I was pointing out that you put 'mothley' rather that 'motley'

Sorry to say but yes it is only on your side, did you wipe all your data ?

Please upload the default wallpaper, it kind of looks nice on nexus 7 but it is gone after changing the wallpaper
Should I ^^ :) That's what makes my rom beautiful from other :) But I will fix that ! Because yeah it is kind of annoying that we can't put it back ^^

Awesome ROM!!

Works really good and I like the Tablet UI a lot.

Big thanks for your work.

No problem :D

I've tried benchmark on all those kernel and Motley kernel won. That's why I've set it recommanded in the install :)

Can you please list what sort of "Performances Improvements" you have made on this ROM? :)
Also, have you implemented dithered holo gradients?

Thanks
Sorry but I dont even know what 'dithered holo gradients' means so yeah I guess not x)

You forgot to wipe cache + data ? Should take the same time as normally

I was on bugless beast, which is a near perfect ROM. I have tried jut about every other ROM then I stumbled on to this one. This is an exceptional ROM sir. I can't wait for ota. BTW I use Franco kernel and its flawless.

Thanks :D It should really be bugs free :) I will be working on my rom all the day to make sure once we changed the wallpaper, we can set back the default one and also bringing OTA Updates + Full Busybox supports :)

Hi
Just going to try your rom but which version of the _motley kernel are you using as he has 3 running at diff speeds, stock/484oc/520oc.
On his page he says its best stick to 484oc.
How is the battery life with this one, does it take a big hit if its running faster.

Thanks

I've took the recommanded 484OC :) Battery life is still great ;) I didn't notice any changes because of the OC

(I installed it twice just to make sure)
Any work around?

Hmm try to flash the stock ROM and then go to recovery, wipe userdata and cache then flash SmoothROM. It should be working.

Thanks

Touch screen performance is driving me crazy. I'm not sure it's ROM related but the problem is very pronounced on this ROM. When I play Fieldrunners HD the screen touch performance goes insane, it will drop things before I release contact with the screen and will act as if I'm pinching to zoom when I'm only touching one spot.

Now for the troubleshooting...I installed a couple multitouch apps and they show that the screen is working fine initially. However, when I start Fieldrunners then switch to the multitouch apps they report all kinds of crazy results. They report two and three touches when I'm only touch it once and at other times it will show only one I have multiple fingers on the screen.

I installed this with the recommended Kernel and everything is a virgin setup. Any ideas?

Just got my Nexus 7 yesterday, wasn't sure if I even wanted to root + flash a custom ROM, but I finally decided to do it a little bit ago. I chose this ROM because I wanted something just as smooth as stock, but with some extras.

Installation was a breeze, used the recommended Kernel, and I'm excited to test this rom to its limits. Good job so far!
