Here's the stock rooted XNPH44S ROM. Includes root(enable in Developer options) and the rest is untouched, so it's OTA safe

Custom kernel users may need to make a change to the build.prop to get root working if the default.prop in the kernel ramdisk if not set like I have it(may affect future OTAs)

Change
Code:
persist.sys.root_access=0
To
Code:
persist.sys.root_access=1

Devhost link downloads at sub-dial-up speeds.
Mirror is broken (seven years of bad luck for you)
Edit: I guess I jumped the gun a little on that one :p

Edit: So close to first :D

Is this ok to dirty flash over 38r? Then I guess flash radio file afterwards?? Does supersu need to be unistalled first?

It can be flashed over 38R without wiping and just flash the radio files after flashing the ROM. As for SuperSU, if it's still there after flashing(because it was updated through the play store), then just uninstall it as it won't work due to the su binary being the CM version

Is this F2FS compatible? Also can i restore the 'data' from my nandroid backup if i flash this?

Basically is it flashable over 38R or requires to be a clean install?

I don't think the stock kernel is F2FS compatible but if you change the kernel and format the partitions accordingly, it should work just fine

I will use AK kernel so f2fs is supported, but i just would like to confirm if this would flash on f2fs partition first?

thanks for the speedy response!

Just did a factory reset and installed the ROM and radio. Upon boot up, I have no superuser at all.
Currently I'm reflashing the ROM after doing an advanced wipe with system, data, dalvik and cache to see if it fixes it.
Is this the right way to do it?

EDIT: Still no supersu. How do we get root working?

    @Calkulin any chance we'll see the battery saver version of 44s? I'm currently running your v2.0 (38r), but have been experiencing the att call drop issue that's solved in 44s. I love the battery saving features of that ROM though and would hate to lose them. If I have to, I will switch to this stock rooted, but if you're working on that I can wait for it on 3G, lol.

    v2.1 is already done that is based on 44S, I just had my motorola modem at home start to have issues on Saturday morning, so finally figured out it needs to be replaced, so I'll do that tomorrow and upload it then(I'm tethering off my phone right now and can't upload a 400MB ROM without getting charged an arm and a leg :crying:)

    Go to developer options and enable root there
