This ROM won't install, you have to use a very old recovery to install it and when the installer finish it won't boot. Also the thread is 100% confusing. 0/10.

Flash phantom kernel v1.2 before Rom first boot ... everything will be fine

Hi i have installed magma nx pce I found two bugs on this rom. I don't know if it's my phone or the rom. When I put the content scaling large option, the notifications on the top bar are half. The other bug is when I open the Youtube app it lowers the screen brightness, then when I quit Youtube it shows at normal brightness. Thanks and sorry for my bad english.

Galaxy Note 3, rooted with towelroot, safestrap recovery. Trying to install the Magma Rom. Installed the kernel and then tried to flash the rom. The phone stuck on that, never opened the Aroma installer.

use older twrp version(2.8.7.0 to be exact) for aroma to work
also use magisk for anything root-related next time. both towelroot(or any exploit-based root), cf-root, and supersu are already deprecated

So, twrp didnot install on my note 3, I tried numerous times, before installing safestrap.
For root, magisk and other did not work, only towelroot worked. When I installed TWRP. I got the msg that system software not authorised by AT&T was found on your phone, and it refused to boot into recovery.

Quora is just people opinions. Nothing is peer reviewed, nothing is fact checked, often very wild, and incorrect statements made.
Your next rooting attempt, try following guides from here on XDA, as myself I have rooted & TWRP'd , on my first attempt, same with countless thousands of others.

Besides, posting links to other sites for instructions, well... It's kinda tacky.
A faux pas, if you will.
r0mushii gave you the correct first step, and if your having trouble, the correct path is to ask for help in a TWRP thread if TWRP is not installing for you, as this thread, is rather dead, and the room most certainly will not be updated, which equals to very little traffic.

I do hope this helps you along your way, cause the world of root can be marvelous place... Just don't let these little stumbling blocks get you down. Keep moving forward...

I will keep on trying. Right now, I am having trouble with my Tab S7, so I am troubleshooting that.

Wow! The fun doesn't stop for you does it? Lol!
As I'm unsure of the method you used to try to root exactly, I don't know if I can help. However This thread is full of some pretty smart people. After running through it for 15 minutes Not only was every question answered, but their problems are solved. It was also several pieces on rooting which I'm sure will help you.

Hi guys!
I have installed the ROM successfully.
But the battery percentage does not update in AOD.
For example when the battery in on 70% it stuck on this percentage until I turn on the screen, then the percentage updates.

Any solution?
