Downloading :) Will try and share experience... can't wait for radio & audio :)

---------- Post added at 08:08 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:53 PM ----------

First: nice job fixing the wifi, it works on mine :)

Then:
- JB is incredibly fast
- I flashed without erasing all my data and no crash so far and apps kept (not everything though, google account doesn't seemes to work...)

BUT: some issue with the MAC address, I use fixed IP address at home with MAC address control and the MAC of my phone changed...

---------- Post added at 08:13 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:08 PM ----------

After some tests: without erasing data it seems I can't get the google apps installed, will try to wipe everything...

---------- Post added at 08:31 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:13 PM ----------

UPDATE: after wiping data and cache I managed to get the google apps (wipe all, flash rom, boot once, then back into recovery and flash apps)

Flashing apps directly after rom without first boot in between made the launch wizard to crash and loop back at the beginning, and this must come from the missing google account librairies: I can't add a google account on this so all the google apps won't launch

Yep, the Gapps package in the first post is incomplete. I'm working on a new one, in the mean time you can flash the ICS gapps, followed by the JB gapps. That should let you at least get set up.

UPDATE2: other bug found: in the google search (so google now) when scrolling though results: screen becomes blank: it seems it scrolls but instead of showing results it just becomes white from the top... weird...

UPDATE3: and GPS seems to work (at least icon blinking but I'm not that patient to get a fix... will try if I can get google account and use fasterfix and gps status...

Hi Tom,

Running into the same issue as quoted poster, did a full factory reset, wiped cache and dalvik, flashed boot and installed rom and gapps.
here's a logcat where you can see it happening

edit:
will try ics gapps as suggested.

UPDATE4: flashing ICS apps then JB apps worked :) I can now configure a google account and access other google apps (the one that require a google account such as the play store)

UPDATE5: BUT Google Now is not working (instant crash after demo of tiles)

---------- Post added at 08:46 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:44 PM ----------

UPDATE6: I don't know if it is just me but now my device really shuts off (on previous ICS CM9 based rom the phone would always reboot and not stay off after shut down)

weird, i didn't do anything special... I used GPS Status to download latest aGPS data... but could not change the region so I took North Americas (I'm in Europe) data and worked after a little while (first fix always long)
