My phone's probably no longer under warranty but I just wanna know if there's gonna be some annoying count I have to expect to see every time I do something in Download Mode. That'd drive me crazy seeing it. I'd rather just throw the phone away and start over if that's the case.
The text is so small in the upper left corner of Download mode it's hard to even read, much less get annoyed by it, in my opinion.

It just says

warranty = 1

instead of

warranty = 0

Sent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy SIII on TouchWiz 4.4.2 with Wicked X v6.5, Ktoonsez' latest kernel and the latest Philz Touch Recovery.
If you're going to throw it away let me know and I'll help you dispose of it. ;)

But like @roirraW "edor" ehT said it's really only minor and you'll probably never notice. My flash count got up to over 900 once before I realized it and wiped it (you can wipe flash count but not Knox).

I'm trying to fix a phone for someone using the Sprint L710, but it's flashed to Boost. Is this going to screw the phone up if I flash it (or any stock Sprint ROM)?

No.

Recovery FLASHABLE version now posted near the bottom of the first post of the 3Minit Battery Mod for Conquest-Singularity and both Stock ND8 and NDC with 1000+ animated battery icons..

[BATTERY] Plasma Battery! ??? & wickeddecimalbarwide_colors

Charging still shot

Thanks for this. Bailed me out here because I needed ND8 to fix my loss of mobile data under the latest Cyanogenmod release. I'm back in business now!
Yup. That's what I had to do. I hate how CM just springs these updates that require a drastic change like a new radio, but don't inform users of it.

Sure, most users may find out from XDA or something like that, but I'm not on here as often. Or I used to not be. After the snafu earlier this year in April where I couldn't get LTE because of a CM bump and then a month ago where the same thing happened again, it's a bit ridiculous.

At least I was able to fix it, although with a lot of questions to the folks on this forum.

Ok at first i thought to myself, "ok, some minor issues but its good". Then I started getting com.google.process error. So I restored everything to factory setting that seemed to work. But now I set up my keyboard with Portuguese and Spanish and immediately lost swipe. Any body else have this issue. I'm becoming a bit disappointed with KitKat. I'm thinking it wasn't worth the hassle to update. I want to make very clear that that IN NO WAY means I'm not grateful for the dev's work. I greatly appreciate what you all do for us lesser mortals.
But I just want to know if there's a fix for this or should i jump ship and head to another custom TW KK rom?
Again thanks for the hard work.
Never mind. I fixed it. It seems somewhere along the line the I clicked on the T9 Trace without realizing it. It's working now. My apologies.

While trying to restore my Sprint Galaxy 3 (running 4.4.2) to stock using the below method, everything went fine.....until I received a RED "Failed" message instead of a green "Pass" message from Odin. So no changes were made to my phone. What else do I need to do to get a green "Pass" vs. "Fail" ??

This is the message I received as Odin was trying to process:
<ID:0/004> Odin v.3 engine (ID:4)..
<ID:0/004> File analysis..
<ID:0/004> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/004> Initialzation..
<ID:0/004> Get PIT for mapping..
<ID:0/004> Firmware update start..
<ID:0/004> aboot.mbn
<ID:0/004>
<ID:0/004>
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)

Please help if you can, as I need to take care of this asap. Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone - sorry this has taken so long to get posted. I've been out of town and am just getting back in and caught up.

First, a HUGE thanks goes @garwynn for working with me on all these one-clicks. Second, thanks goes to @DR_CDMA for posting the original TAR here.

This Odin One-Click.exe contains the Stock ND8 Bootloader, Kernel, Modem and ROM for the Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3 (SPH-L710). Yes, that means this comes with the full Knox Bootloader.

There has been no change to the ROM from the initial build released by Samsung.

This will NOT trigger the Yellow Triangle NOR will it increment the Odin flash count.

This one-click resets your whole phone to the stock ND8 experience, similar to a factory restore and it may wipe all data. It also contains the full bootloader and Knox.

Instructions:
1: Backup anything important and Disable any PINs.
During this process your phone's software will be returned to the Stock setup. All system data will be lost. To be safe, it is best to archive your backup off your phone, ie on your PC or Dropbox.

2: Install Samsung USB/Android drivers (if necessary).
Samsung Drivers Download Link

3: Download the ND8 Stock ROM One-Click.
SPH-L710_ND8_Full Restore_UNROOTED (Compressed Archive).exe (Resets user data)

4: Unzip One-Click ROM using 7zip (this package is a self-extracting exe you should just be able to double-click on it after download and it will do the rest).

5: Start the Odin One-Click.
Navigate to the location where the SPH-L710_ND8_Full Restore_UNROOTED.exe was saved upon extract from the 7Zip archive.
Double-click on SPH-L710_ND8_Full Restore_UNROOTED.exe. *On Vista or newer, you may need to right-click on the file and Run as Administrator.

6: Place phone in Download Mode.
- Power phone completely off.
- Press and hold Volume Down, Home and Power buttons, all at the same time.
- Release the buttons only when the ‘Warning!!’ message appears.
- Press [Volume Up] to enter Download mode.

7: Connect USB cable to PC and phone.
Odin should show a yellow COM port in the second column. If you do not see a yellow COM port, you may need to run the Odin One-Click as Administrator and/or unplug/plugin the USB cable after starting Odin One-Click.

8: Start Odin flash process.
Press [Start].

9: Complete - PASS!
Status should change to green PASS! At this point your phone should automatically reboot.

Android Instructions:
It is not recommended to flash this build using Mobile Odin. There have been reports of devices being hard bricked from doing so.

The boot process will take slightly longer than usual during which time you'll see the Sprint 4G logo screen.

Congratulations! You've flashed the Factory Restore ND8 build!

I've tried downloading SPH-L710_ND8_Full Restore_UNROOTED (Compressed Archive).exe multiple times. When I try to open it, I get an error that it can not be opened as an archive. Has anyone else run into this? I'm using 7zip in Windows 7.

Thanks in advance.
...if it has the exe ending just click on it as if it was a normal application it unzips itself i believe

Thanks for your help.

I had tried just opening it as you described, but I kept getting that error. I eventually right-clicked on the file, hovered over the 7zip option in the menu that popped up, and then chose "Extract to SPH-L710_ND8_Full Restore_UNROOTED (Compressed Archive).exe\" -- which finally worked.

This is the same error I keep getting too. Except I'm running CM11 M10 with Virgin Mobile. I guess I'm kinda stuck. Can't seem to upgrade to CM11 M11 without losing service and I can't seem to restore stock ROM either.
