This one-click resets your whole phone to the stock ND8 experience, similar to a factory restore and it may wipe all data. It also contains the full bootloader and Knox.
Can anyone who has flashed this comment on whether or not they lost their data?Actually I need to update the OP. I copied and pasted an old one and missed a line. This should not wipe data as Samsung has quit including the wipe commands in their releases. This is still a full restore in the sense that everything but user data is wiped and restored to factory defaults. You should be good with this as your no data but please still make a nandroid or other backup just in case.
Also, I thought once you have Knox you can't downgrade? So if I make a nandroid of my 4.3, then upgrade to 4.4, I can't restore back tot he 4.3 nandroid. So what's the point of the nandroid? Just in case the upgrade to 4.4 fails?
Be sure people know if it's for the 16GB or 32GB, because if it's 16GB it will format the internal down from 32GB to 16GB.
My phone is 32GB. Can you explain in civilian terms how to get my phone back to 32GB after I flash to 4.4? Along with links to download the 32GB PIT file, please.Well if any 32GB users have had this issue, I know how to fix it at least. You need the 32GB PIT file for your exact model and just have Odin flash the ND8 with the PIT file and have Repartition checked and load the PIT file with the button labeled PIT. I just did it and I'm all fixed up.
Thanks.
