What is NexusOS​

NexusOS is a fork of the GZOSP maintained by TeamNexus formerly known as Nexus7420 Dev Team and was initially only for the Samsung Galaxy S6


How to Install?
Reboot to TWRP and wipe Data Cache Dalvik_Cache and System
Flash the Rom.zip and gapps of your Choise

Okay thats fine but how do i report bugs ?
Try to grab a logcat or post procedure to redo the bug and post it here or use our offical bugtracker

Which devices are supported?
Sadly because i dont do devices i dont own currently only the SM-G900F is supported

OH one last thing what is not working?

1. Audio
2. Ril aka calls data sms
3. Bluetooth seems to be buggy but somehow works
4. Camera aka video recording ,taking pictures
5. Everything i forgot to mention
6. Everything that is not listed here works fine

darum und ich arbeite jetzt grade dran hab grade nen build durch und nexusos is besser als lineage weil da schon viel mehr gemergt ist und das meine eigene rom ist

Shouldn't be released, especially as "official" without having the basic functions as a phone working. I can see releasing something for testing, but why even release it when you know it doesn't work?

because im part of TeamNexus and i tell its offcial but you dont seem to be thankfull so i will just use my new builds with ril working without sharing them

dont pay that one guy any attention , this is a free comunity where any dev can share there work , theres always gonna be those who only complain about the little stuff and not see the bigger picture , let him say what he wants and continue your work , i know im already excited for this nexus rom , and i know as soon as the ril is fix either by you or the lineage team that this rom is my first to be flashed ( lineage is great n all but having custom tweaks within Oreo is much better in my opinion)

p.s im sure that proof you posted just made alot of those who keep complaining and not being thankful to the devs made them feel really regret the comments they posted.

idk whats so hard for people to just have some danm patience , im baffled by this behavior everytime.

i mean they complain to samsung not updating but when samsung dont even have a proper reply they take it as it is but when a dev puts in hard work in hours on hours to keep an old phone alive ( and for free i might add ) they complain about the most frivolous things like little children. wow just wow

AFAIK the "Official" Rom title has NOTHING to do with functionality - and to be honest, if you did a little reading in the same thread category, (Unified Development); MANY people have been hard at work to fix RIL and most Oreo Roms have huge problems atm - i see no reason at all for you to complain about ANYTHING; be happy and grateful that developers are still working with the S5 AT ALL - that we are going to see Oreo AT ALL is a testement to the dedication of the developers here. This is a forum for DEVELOPING - and it was posted in the OP. Sometimes things dont work - whether its because the dev is learning for the first time, or if he is a seasoned dev like the OP. Just dont heckle devs, they deal with enough crap as it is.

And thanks OP - the more Roms that are built/maintained by the s5 community means more possible s5 development moving forward - i downloaded and tested the initial Rom upload - very interesting OS! ill be watching the updates

I already want to thank all the developers for their work. Unfortunately, there will always be toddlers - who for the most part know nothing about programming, will always pour their frustrations at the slightest opportunity. My encouragement for your work. :good:
