    Hi,
too bad they removed the embedded Gcam inside the ROM, it was one of the 2 reasons why I chose this ROM. I experienced that embedded cameras works much better that the ones you install manually about system integration.

Now I am trying to understand,
Does the ROM come with a different embedded camera, (snap camera)?

If yes, why everyone asks to replace it with Gcamera?
And if I do, can I flash the new camera from your 2 links

Yes it comes with Scap Camera.
You can have both cameras if you want, Snap Camera and Gcam of your choice.
You can remove Snap Camera and install GCam as normally install all apks.

If you want to remove Snap Camera, just flash the Lineage-SnapCam-Uninstaller in recovery.

    or manually:

I already removed snap cam by myself. I know all the methods. Making flashable zip, Removing from twrp or uninstalling via adb.
Anyway, thanks for this post it will be helpful for so many users.
You are doing a great job. Keep updating your thread :good::eek:

Gcam removed so you can be able to install more easily the gcam port of your choice. Check my collection thread for recommended ports.
I personally use MGC_7.4.104_Parrot043_v5 with F1v9.6_6.2.030 from san1ty as alternative.

I've updated mine via OTA just fine with Official TWRP Recovery 3.4.0-1. Install this recovery and check (if you are not already using it).

Can you explain why this Parrot version please?

    Thanks

Guys I am getting stucked on fastboot after I install the p.e.+ Nov 22 build.
I clean installed as I was on different ROM.

I got the same when I flashed the rom in TWRP. I am getting stucked on fastboot. I just download the update and store in my download folder then go to TWRP and dirty flash it. Then I got stucked on fastboot

I got mine fixed. I just download the whole rom 1.2gb and flash it thru TWRP without wiping all my data. Everything comes back to normal.

Thanks :) Once I have done it, how can I set the new port to be the "system" camera, like when you send a pic in whatsapp or take a pic for instagram?

Inbuild GCam removed because it was causing problems in latest build and also now you have the option to choose what port of gcam u like most and install it like normal apk without making clones etc.
You can find the best GCam ports for POCO F1 in my Collection. Just download and install it like normal apk. I personally use MGC_7.4.104_Parrot043_v5. In case you want to uninstall Snap Camera check here.

Is it only me or anyone else is feeling that the overall smoothness (scrolling, animation) in the ROM was better in the October build than the November build? Specially scrolling through the UI.
