I did some research and I think it's an old Pixel Launcher bug/feature. I found some old topics concerning the same bug in most of Pixel family smartphones. It's also visible on my Mi 9 SE. It's definitely the software problem as it's only visible on the home screen. For now, the only workaround is to use some other launcher.

Same issue here. It's so annoying... And in my case it happens regularly, every 3-5 days.

I had some issues with lagginess when waking the screen, and sometimes the screen wouldn't come on at all forcing me to reboot. Installing the Kowalski kernel fixed that for me.

Edit: No, still ghost touches. Maybe a hw issue then. Additionally, I've been having some issues with ghost touches, that seems to have been fixed by installing an older firmware (11.0.9.0).

Not sure if other people are affected, but the latest rom with these tweaks is now really snappy again.

Unfortunately, I am reverting to the stockrom. Looks like the maintainer is not currently able to keep building that version.

Btw, I really appreciate anyone that could give me some references about how to build the PixelExpirence from scratch.

For some reason when I try to set a password of any type I get this toast and the password isn't set. "Screen lock was already changed. Try again with the new screen lock"

I experienced another very annoying issue - with camera. I can't take any photo with Messenger, after clicking the shutter button it freezes for a while and then displays a message "sorry, the camera is not working right now..." for a short while. Today I encountered the same problem but with another app (Google Classroom) - again, I can't take any photo directly in this application, because it freezes completely, this time without displaying any error messages.

Edit:
I forgot to mention that when I used MIUI these problems weren't present.

Does anyone know why the hell my music stop playing sound on headphones when screen is off?

Example: start some music in mp3 format, lock screen > in about 10 sec to 2 minutes (randomly) i hear in headphones distortion, then silence or very very low volume - song is playing but without sound or very low sound. Need to kill player then start it again

- when screen is on, headphones works flawlessly
- when screen on or off reproductor works flawlessly
- tryied another music players
- tryied disable energy saving

So wtf is this??

Any noticiable bug? Wish to use for daily driver. FOD work?

I'm going to release a new version very soon with som fixes that community reported. FOD is working, but not 100% perfect, due to brightness trick. I'm going to tackle the FOD update on the next releases, so stay in touch to the CHANGELOG.

I'm also working on a sable port of GCam with, I hope, 48MP camera support.
