Hi ! I just noticed everytime i applied black wallpaper, there is a dark gray background on the upper part of the screen. Is this normal ? See screenshot below.
I did some research and I think it's an old Pixel Launcher bug/feature. I found some old topics concerning the same bug in most of Pixel family smartphones. It's also visible on my Mi 9 SE. It's definitely the software problem as it's only visible on the home screen. For now, the only workaround is to use some other launcher.
I had some issues with lagginess when waking the screen, and sometimes the screen wouldn't come on at all forcing me to reboot. Installing the Kowalski kernel fixed that for me.
Edit: No, still ghost touches. Maybe a hw issue then. Additionally, I've been having some issues with ghost touches, that seems to have been fixed by installing an older firmware (11.0.9.0).
Not sure if other people are affected, but the latest rom with these tweaks is now really snappy again.
Sometimes flashlight in notification panel is disabled, and unable to click. Anyone facing the same ?
I experienced another very annoying issue - with camera. I can't take any photo with Messenger, after clicking the shutter button it freezes for a while and then displays a message "sorry, the camera is not working right now..." for a short while. Today I encountered the same problem but with another app (Google Classroom) - again, I can't take any photo directly in this application, because it freezes completely, this time without displaying any error messages.
Edit:
I forgot to mention that when I used MIUI these problems weren't present.
