Is there a recommended update procedure if you're rooted with Magisk?

Do I just flash the latest full PE+ Zip file in TWRP? Do I have to consider anything to keep root? I've read you can flash Magisk after flashing the ROM, but I installed Magisk through the Magisk Manager app, if that makes any difference...

-edit- Never mind, I think (hope, because I went ahead and did it) I've figured it out.

1. Download a flashable zip of Magisk from within Magisk Manager
2. Flash PE+
3. Flash the Magisk zip
4. Clear cache + Dalvik
5. Optionally delete Google Camera APK on system partition

Device is booting now, hope I didn't ******* anything


Looks like everything went according to plan. However, I can also confirm the bug with "swap buttons" being reactivated on every reboot, which was not the case on the previous build I was running (Aug. 15th). @Gaurav24 please take a look.

If I change the 2nd SIM to the 1st SIM, incoming calls will also work. This happens with my two SIM cards, one is DE o2 and the other DE Telekom. What can I do to make incoming calls work?

No issue if you're rooted , OTA Update will work fine.

Incoming and outgoing call works for both sim simultaneously. Make sure our device support 4G only in one carrier at once

I flash new build PE 10+ from 11-10-2020 and have several issues, then I try build from 03 october - exactly the same. Camera - don't work, youtube - don't work, messenger VK (russian network) - don't work, even simple pedometer from Simple Design don't work! Every step was made via guide, clean install everytime, no root installed and etc. I try reboot several times - zero effect. OnePlus 3T 64 Gb (A3010). System is great but this issues make impossible to work on it. What I must do to fix the problems? Big thanks in advance

Make sure you have clean flashed if you're comming from other ROM.

If still having issues the follow step
1) Reboot to TWRP
2) Go to Mount and Check "System"
3) Head Towards Advance > File Manager
4) browse "/system/product/app/GoogleCamera"
5) Delete APK and Reboot
6) Install Camera App as per your Choice.

Same thing happening for me too. The selfie camera does not work. The rear camera works. Any idea how to solve this

Microphone quality is bad ( alot) in camera and audio recorder.. using ACC 49khz i have no way to change it
In video camera the audio gain value changes randomly making the video sounds like its filmed by a blackberry from 2005

Usually I leave my phone on silent over night so that I'm not disturbed by notifications - but I still want the alarm to wake me

No maybe your microphone damaged.

Settings > Sounds > Do Not Disturb > See All Exceptions

Thanks, I couldn't remember where that was or that it even existed. This wasn't the exact issue - "allow alarms" was already checked.

You helped me find the issue however: Under Oneplus Settings, the slider position I use for DND was set to "total silence", which apparently overrides the general DND settings.

So not a bug, just a dumb user. Thanks @Gaurav24 !

However, I can't purchase stuff on google play anymore - it says my device is not secure. I could on the previous version though, so something has changed. Any ideas?

You mean Google Pay? I didn't have any problem to pay with my phone. My SafetyNet test is ok, did you try it?
