Thank you for this awesome rom. Could you please also consider using a different mirror instead of google drive or adding an alternative (secondary) mirror. For some reason GDrive is being quite weird. I normally never have any issues with downloading stuff through google drive, however I am having issues with download your latest CrDroid rom.

I've installed the rom and I am having issues with bluetooth (keeps turning off and on) has anyone else experienced this?

How's performance in general ?
Any bugs ?

Just installed latest version with latest stable china firmware.
Performance are great, fast & smooth.
Battery seems really good, maybe like (or better) MIUI stock, but just one day it's a little bit to judge. Also AOD is working fine, and AOSP experience is in general wonderful.
But some tweaks are needed for a daily use, and i write them here hoping the OP can read and solve in future updates.

- I had to substitute an audio policy configuration file in vendor/etc to fix crackling audio in some scenarios (as whatsapp audio message)
- Bluethooth works almost fine, but my car system give me no signal while phone as it normally
- Also in bluetooth while i play music on my car system (using Youtube or Spotify) sometimes i hear a noise from car speakers. I had to stop and play music to solve.
- AOSP included Camera is nothing special and cannot profit by full hardware specs, but it's working fine. Installing a fully working GCam seems a little hard, because AFAIK we don't have a real working GCam for MI 9 Lite (CC) and the various versions have some problems. I tried several but no one really gratify me.
- FOD is almost terrible: slow and inaccurate. In some scenarios isn't indicated the sensor position so it's hard to find the correct screen point to tap
- Gestures are working fine but i prefer MIUI ones
- I hadn't no freeze and reboot, but some apps often crash (as Google Photo or WhatsApp)
- The bottom pillow on some app is dark on whit background and due to curves edges the effect is almost ugly (IDK if is Android problem or crDroid)
- Brightness sensor is inaccurate in low light condition and auto settings. Brightness goes up and down continuously. So during night i have to set manual mode.
- Sometime also in MUTE mode, some app produce sounds
- Sometime swipe-up gesture to go home do not work until i restart phone

Not all those are very critical points, but in every day use i think are a little annoying.

Anyway the work is great and i should make my congratulations @Coderz, hoping he can solve those problems.

OP should be updated !!!
Wipe system, data, cache and format data, then reboot to recovery - DO NOT FORMAT DATA in TWRP
I just spent about hour and a half fixing the damage after formatting the data.
Solution ( assuming that you have the original stock rom backed up in TWRP - full backup ):
- Flash stock recovery
- Wipe data using stock recovery
- Flash TWRP
- Restore previously created backup in TWRP
- Do factory reset with TWRP ( under wipe settings )
- Reboot and wait for setup to complete
None of these steps were unable to be completed in TWRP ( after format data ) since it always complained that it cannot find /data nor mount it. Also, crypto folder could not be found.
No rom would start properly including the original stock rom. It just gets stuck on boot animation.
Hope this helps.
P.S.
Ill try again now to flash this newly updated rom and post here the results.

I've tested this version of the rom and I can say that you've fixed the bluetooth issue. From my experience this is the first Android 10 rom that has bluetooth audio working reasonably well. Props to you dude. The latest "stable" release of MIUI (Android 10) has bluetooth audio still broken lol.

Yeah, if you format the data partition all weird stuff happens. Like it doesn't mount properly and when you try to install a rom it gets stuck in a bootloop. I had to reinstall all the firmware using fastboot in order to resolve this issue. I got this rom to work by just using the classic wipe data functionality (NOT FORMAT). I'm not sure what this is an issue with, it could be that the official TWRP has an issue. When I use the format data issue on my other devices it works without that issue with it being unable to mount the data partition.

P.S I am running the "Official" TWRP for the Mi 9 Lite.

I updated to the latest version today, I also updated the firmware, and I have to say the following:
- FOD is much better but it is still (something) slow. It remains to be seen whether the random reboots are definitely resolved.

TKS coderzs for your work

Something weird is definitely going on with this TWRP ...
I was able to flash this rom, and get it to work great.
The problem is when i try to restore my original stock rom from backup which worked up until 2 hours ago.
Now it fails during /data restore.
Error message: extractTarFork() process ended with ERROR: 255
Which recovery should we use ?
I use https://xdaforums.com/mi-cc9/development/recovery-unofficial-twrp-xiaomi-mi-9-t4029705 this one.
Is that one OK ?

Thanks man ... it definitely works, looks better and it covers full screen. Even notch is used as in regular rom. Only issue is that this recovery cannot recognize my backups made with my previous recovery. Most likely this is normal ( since the backup was made with different TWRP ).
You dont happen to have a flashable stock rom for Mi9 lite ?
