Whenever I boot my cellphone and after unlocking it, a screen appears saying "starting android". That's why my applications like Kernel Adiutor and FDE.AI take time to start their configurations or simply they don't start. Even for hours, the applications are not loaded until the first unlock is made. This doesn't happen when I don't set a lockscreen but it's necessary for me to use it. Any help?

This ROM is almost perfect, the only small bug which annoy me it's the screen auto-rotate on lock screen even when toggle switch off.
I tied to find a solution and I found the bug in EvolutionX sources. Followed back the code from settings switch, I found in "frameworks_base/packages/SystemUI/src/com/android/systemui/statusbar/phone/StatusBarWindowController.java" this row: "|| (enableLockScreenRotation && enableAccelerometerRotation));" and should be "&& (enableLockScreenRotation && enableAccelerometerRotation)); Built the rom whit this change, and the lockscreen auto-rotation can be disabled.
I'm not developer, just know a bit of programming... If a developer can use this information...

Yes... But you need to have your sim card volte enabled and in xiaomi firmware to exist working modem config for your sim.
In my case after got 4g voice enabled for my sim, volte started working. For vowifi needed to change the modem config to one which is compatible with my sim using qualcom pdc tool.

So since I'm already using VoLTE and VoWiFi with my xiaomi.eu rom, it will be ok if i flash this ROM. Right, or I didn't understand something? Also, if I have MIUI 12 (xiaomi.eu) I should just flash, or do i need to downgrade?

If you already using Volte and Vowifi with miui rom should be functional with EvolutionX too. The firmware installed with MIUI 12 should be ok. Save your data, probably will need to format data partition. My recommendation is:
use latest orangefox recovery
copy to SD-card, PC... any important data from internal storage
remove your actual encryption stuff, fingerprint, pin... (maybe will be enough, and no need to format)
go to recovery and make "data" backup
flash the EvolutionX rom and try to boot to system
if don't boot to system, go back to recovery, format data partition and reboot to system again.
If for any reason you will want to return to miui (I don't think so), flash the miui rom which you used before, try to boot (format data if necessary), setup the rom without pin/password etc., reboot to recovery and restore the miui "data" backup.

(I quoted you just because. The following is to everyone.)

I see this, even some developers saying this. This is pure BS! There is nothing like "Rom settling", after installing it is understandable for the ROM to make some adjustments like caching some app data, or updating apps to latest or whatever, which will take like few hours may be. I'd even give it a day for a good measure, as some updates might take longer in slower connection. But "few days" is ridiculous.

If your device is eating up battery unreasonably, check if some app is misusing your resources. Uninstall unused suspicious apps. You might also like to change the karnel in some special (usually not needed) cases.

So basically to sum it up, the performance you get after a day from the rom, is how it will keep performing until an update changes something.

If anyone wants to counter me, I'd love a technical and indepth explanation about why it'd take more than a day to "settle". I'm not a top level expert but initiated enough to grasp.

PS: If you get 8-10hrs of SOT, you should probably stfu!

Raphael is redmi k20 pro i think
Download for lavender
And you should first flash latest global miui firmware and then clean flash lavender rom
I think then it will work
