Wolud you be so kind and check does bug with voice call is still present? if you call someone you can hear yourself talking, try to scratch phone near microphone and you can tell if there is bug. thank you!

Hello, i can confirm the bug was still present with the last update. I don't know when this issue will be solved.
I haven't used my phone for 2 months because of this problem. Too bad because the rom is very good.

First of all, I want to thank great developers of this community who work relentlessly to bring us this beautiful ROM.

My issue is my battery drains extremely fast, mostly i charge it 3 times a day. I need to know is it caused by ROM, or just my battery dies.

Anyone having similar issue? All responses are appreciated.

I'm running the 12 plus build since it came out and I really don't recognize any of these issues mentioned by you guys. I don't have any problems with mic/calling or battery drain. The only thing for me is that the face unlock is a bit slower than in stock MIUI.
I am really enjoying this ROM and don't think I'll be switching to another. I really want to thank @GiaSen for his efforts and amazing work for keeping our great mi8 up to date!

My first suspect is battery by the way. I made it change last year but repair shop didn't use original one as replacement battery I think. But before changing it again, I wanted to ask you one last time. Thanks for your precious answer.

I also replaced my battery, but I think mine is a original one. ( Ifixit store ). That's why I'm not complaining about battery drain.

Battery drain check for your usage in battery menu in settings. For my case it's android system intelligence app hogging the battery.

@GiaSen I think NFC writing feature is broken in this ROM, reading is fine tho. I can't update my metro card balance from the phone.

Already check with other card and app, same issues. Error when trying to update balance.

Mic issues is there, try rubbing the mic from GSM call. Don't switch to loudspeaker mode, try hearing from earpiece

Battery life is abit worse for me, especially on idle

Just better to stay on A11 Rom because very annoying issue with mic bug during calls. That's what I did.

Hello , in fact I can confirm with PE Android 12 the issue with mic is not possible during call. I just return today on last PE + Android 11 version and everything is good

If ppl want to get this issue with the mic fixed, then ppl need to report and help infrag track at down the problem at the lineage 19.1 thread:

He is right now actively trying to find the problem and fix it, but he needs more ppl to test and report ASAP, which is not happening right now! Also if it gets fixed there, it will get fixed of PE as well as a result.

I can't help with testing cause i have too many apps that i need to authenticate to use on my phone after installing a new rom and those apps i use for work, banking and stuff... In other words, its a lot of work, so i cant keep switching all the time.

Last build is having serrious problems with microphone. high pitch sound could damage my eardrum. I didnt find any other problems with rom.

PE11+ is having also similiar problem but it is minor and bearable. In PE11+ i didnt find any problems only in wallpaper galery "pixel comunity pics" is blank. Everything else is ok, I am using it as daily driver. (NFC,GPS, etc...)

MIUI EU last rom iz 12.5. In that rom voice call is perfect, no mic problems at all. But rom is having a lot of problems, it is very buggy. If someone colud move module for voice call from MIUI 12.5 to PE12+, it would be perfect ROM.
