Guys do you know a way to lock the quick settings menú in lock screen? With Android 11 i was able to do that. But Android 12 removed this option.
Is there any app or trick to disable it?

I can confirm that Lineage OS mic fix removed 95% of problems (there is still little hiss noise when rubbing microphone hole) but telephone is quite usable. Can this fix from LOS be applied on PE12?

Then re-enable it. Just change 'disable' to 'enable' in that command. Then reboot the phone.
I think that battery draining will happen once in a while. When it happens, go to Settings .. Security .. Device admin apps .. Deactivate Find my device. Then go to all apps and Disable + Force stop google play services app, wait a few seconds then Enable it and reboot.
It will stop draining for a few days. In my case, latest draining happened 5 days ago, I did the steps above and my phone is normal for now.

The mic fix should bring the sidetone amplification levels back to the stock values. I can assure you that the stock rom(MIUI) will also have that little hiss noise if you tap the microphone, but you probably didn't notice it before.

Hello, I am on lineageOS 18.1 (Android 11) and I want to upgrade to pixel experience latest plus version (android 12). My recovery is latest official twrp build. Can I flash with twrp or do I need pixel experience recovery for that? I see that lineage has it's recovery aswell now, but I have always used TWRP. I don't want to break anything.

you can use twrp to flash, PE recovery will be automatically installed after first boot

is there a way or fix that we can make to lower this values to stock level by ourselfs? without wainting for next build?

    Hello guys!

    I'm sending this message to tell you my impressions of the new Rom update. I was really excited about the update and the results, so I think it's worth sharing.

    In short, I'm really enjoying it!

    I was still using the latest version of Android 11 and I waited until that moment for version 12 to become more mature, I followed the evolution of this version and I am very satisfied!

    I'll put here my impressions of this change from version 11 to 12:

    - In preparation for the installation, I wiped all partitions, used the side-load through TWRP and everything went smoothly. After installation, PixelExperience Recovery was installed automatically (Senatore tip).
    - Battery life: Improved a little, I understand that the battery itself is not new, but I already liked it because it was better than before.
    - System fluidity: Excellent! Fluid system, no crashes and all applications working very well
    - Apps: With the guidance of other comments here on the forum, right after installation, I cleared cache and storage of Apps, disabled the ones I don't use and everything has been working very well
    - Plus version additions: Excellent! I don't know why these extras are not included, the OS becomes more agile and smart. Great insight from the developers. I just had a hard time finding the option to turn on the flashlight with the side button, in the settings search I couldn't find it, I had to search within each category.
    - General phone usage: All praise! All in order and responding very well. I haven't tested NFC, so it's up to those who use it to test.

    Once again, my thanks to everyone on the forum, you guys send valuable tips that help everyone with Rom usage and troubleshooting, thank you very much!
    The Rom team, especially Mr. Senatore, for the fine work in getting this device to work so well with updated software. Thank you for your patience, work and interest in this continuation of this excellent device.

    Changelog
    **Device Specific Changes:**
    - Etude kernel: Op.11 No.4
    * Linux 4.9.267
    * some upstream fixes of cpufreq_stats
    * fixed an issue where the frequency of big CPU cores is locked to a maximum of 1286MHz; the frequency of the big cluster is supposed to be restricted under 1286MHz if you battery is at or below 10%, as part of Qualcomm's thermal mitigation, but on previous versions, the frequency restriction was not removed after the phone is charged above 10%
    * default to suspend to RAM instead of s2idle (suspend to idle) for around a 25% reduction of idle battery drain
    * DO NOT use a third party kernel without proper support for Pixel thermal hal
    - Adjusted thermal configs to delay CPU frequency drop and smoothen the thermal throttling curve
    - Implemented dynamic thermal profile to work with Pixel thermal engine
    * the option is accessible under Settings/Battery/Optimization profiles (in case you are wondering, they had no effect on PE11 before this change)
    * thermal configs are dynamically loaded on a per-app basis
    * only the gaming profile is available besides the default profile, because other use cases are covered well enough by the default profile
    * the gaming profile maintains CPU frequency at even higher temperature compared the default profile
    * surface temperatures are measured by an infrared thermometer with matching emissivity to ensure they stay below the allowed maximum values of continuously held electronic devices in IEC 60950-1 (2005) standard
    * thermal profile is NOT a replacement for proper cooling. If you want better performance, you should cool your device. - Eliminated all SELinux neverallows and cleaned up unneeded or broken sepolicy
    * the latest Riru installation should work now. Note that if you use any mods like this, you will not receive support from me
    - Updated telephony blobs from pyxis 21.3.31 to fix random qtibus crashes in the background
    - Went back to Secure Element 1.0 to work with the updated blobs
    - Stopped enforcing s2idle from userspace init script so the kernel can suspend to RAM for better idle battery drain
    - Cleaned some unused config overlays
    **ROM update highlights:**
    - April security update
    - Fixed the issue of weather information not showing up in "At a glance" on the home screen of Pixel Launcher
    - Improved Face Unlock. The issue of front camera being occupied should happen less frequently. Let me know if you still encounter it - Devices will only use dark boot animation from now on

I've experienced the loud howl 4 times now, so I suspect a bug (driver , audio mixel level?) since the latest release.

    I'd appreciate if you could have a look at it.
