No more Google Keep notifications after having turned this off. :/Yeah. Disabling and clearing things fixed it for me but only for a week. Today it started draining again. Then I tried that command mentioned by erics9n above. It worked.
Then re-enable it. Just change 'disable' to 'enable' in that command. Then reboot the phone. No more Google Keep notifications after having turned this off. :/
Just to make sure, the supposed mic fix for LineageOS is this patch:
thank you bro, I didn't see that it was merged few days after I did test available commitsJust to make sure, the supposed mic fix for LineageOS is this patch:
https://review.lineageos.org/c/LineageOS/android_kernel_xiaomi_sdm845/+/333223
By the way, did you ask @jjpprrrr about this? What does he say? He's the master of the kernel
You're welcome.. I suggest to build a test kernel with the patch so people can test whether it works...thank you bro, I didn't see that it was merged few days after I did test available commits
The mic fix should bring the sidetone amplification levels back to the stock values. I can assure you that the stock rom(MIUI) will also have that little hiss noise if you tap the microphone, but you probably didn't notice it before.I can confirm that Lineage OS mic fix removed 95% of problems (there is still little hiss noise when rubbing microphone hole) but telephone is quite usable. Can this fix from LOS be applied on PE12?
True. I did test that on Stock ROM and Lineage with fix.The mic fix should bring the sidetone amplification levels back to the stock values. I can assure you that the stock rom(MIUI) will also have that little hiss noise if you tap the microphone, but you probably didn't notice it before.
nope no need toDo I loose all my data if I update to the latest build. I am currently running a Feb build. If I update to the latest build via the system update do I have to reinstall all the apps again ?
you can use twrp to flash, PE recovery will be automatically installed after first bootHello, I am on lineageOS 18.1 (Android 11) and I want to upgrade to pixel experience latest plus version (android 12). My recovery is latest official twrp build. Can I flash with twrp or do I need pixel experience recovery for that? I see that lineage has it's recovery aswell now, but I have always used TWRP. I don't want to break anything.
is there a way or fix that we can make to lower this values to stock level by ourselfs? without wainting for next build? The mic fix should bring the sidetone amplification levels back to the stock values. should be fixed in next build, I imported lineage fixis there a way or fix that we can make to lower this values to stock level by ourselfs? without wainting for next build?

yeah it should be fixed
yup I confirm the issue is present on my device as well, will start investigate asapHi,
I've also got a problem with the sound during phone calls (like someone above already mentioned), regarding the latest PE 12 release for Xiaomi mi8 dipper.
If I'm on call and put the phone to my ear, I hear some echo with almost no delay of what I say in the speaker. It feels like I say "S" and someone aplifies this and "SZ" comes into my ear. At the beginning, I hardly noticed it, but sometimes in the middle of the call the feedback howl randomly gets very bad so my ear hurts after the "squuueeeek pffff". After that, it takes 2-3 seconds and the audio is just "szzzzz" with little feedback and I can talk normally. I've experienced the loud howl 4 times now, so I suspect a bug (driver , audio mixel level?) since the latest release.
I'd appreciate if you could have a look at it.
Thank you
