Since the update the GPAY was broken, so today I decided to re-root.
I had already Magisk app 25.2 intalled and hidden, So I Cleared most google apps cache and flashed Magisk.zip.
On first boot I had no root, restarted to recovery flashed .zip again booted again and I had root.
All my modules before update were still there and active including SafetyNetFix.
Tried to add a new card to google pay and I got a message that my device is rooted and that I can't add a Card.
Wallet Gives no message that device is incompatible until I try to make a payment, it gets declined and tells me that device is incompatible.
I cleared again cache of google apps and rebooted.
Magisk said that I lost root.
Since then I have flashed more than 10 times the Magisk.zip but on boot I have no Root.

I also tried to uninstall my previous magisk app install a fresh downloaded one and change the update channel.
Neither got me to Rooted status.
Any idea why this is happening?
On First release I was able to root just by installing app and flashing the .zip.
Thanks

Try extracting boot.img from the rom.zip, patch it in Magisk Manager app, then flash the patched boot in fastboot:
Code:
fastboot flash boot /path/to/magisk_patched.img

For banking/payment apps to work, you may need to add them to Magisk DenyList (under magisk settings > Configure DenyList), leave Enforce DenyList turned OFF, Zygisk turned ON, and install Shamiko in Magisk Modules.

I have 4g+ available (DT Carrier)
I mean that LTE carrier frequency aggregation (LTE-A) does not work for me. My operator uses frequencies 1800+2600, on the Redmi note 9 Pro through the netmonster app it shows 1800+2600, but on the Mi 8 only one of them is used, either 2600 or 1800. Maybe this can be fixed somehow?

PE production builds for many devices in progress (at the moment not for dipper).

Hello. I see too. In any case, one build lasts an average of 1 hour and 40 minutes, which means you have to wait 3-4 days (estimate around next weekend could be a dipper) before it's your turn. in the past, the server ran multiple builds at once, now only one.

Does anyone else experience big loading times on messenging/social apps?

Reddit/FB/Messenger all of them out of nowhere takes a long time to load, this started on the previous version and nothing changed when i did the last update.

For example, notification comes for a new message on messenger, tapping on it opens the actual conversation and then it takes anywhere from 5 to 30 seconds to load the new message.

Clearing Cache of the app wont help at all.

I'm trying to avoid reflashing since its my daily driver phone and It will take hours to set everything up again.

Any ideas on what the issue is?

    Thanks

    April update up
    Changelog
    **Device Specific Changes:**
    - Etude kernel: Op.11 No.4
    * Linux 4.9.267
    * some upstream fixes of cpufreq_stats
    * fixed an issue where the frequency of big CPU cores is locked to a maximum of 1286MHz; the frequency of the big cluster is supposed to be restricted under 1286MHz if you battery is at or below 10%, as part of Qualcomm's thermal mitigation, but on previous versions, the frequency restriction was not removed after the phone is charged above 10%
    * default to suspend to RAM instead of s2idle (suspend to idle) for around a 25% reduction of idle battery drain
    * DO NOT use a third party kernel without proper support for Pixel thermal hal
    - Adjusted thermal configs to delay CPU frequency drop and smoothen the thermal throttling curve
    - Implemented dynamic thermal profile to work with Pixel thermal engine
    * the option is accessible under Settings/Battery/Optimization profiles (in case you are wondering, they had no effect on PE11 before this change)
    * thermal configs are dynamically loaded on a per-app basis
    * only the gaming profile is available besides the default profile, because other use cases are covered well enough by the default profile
    * the gaming profile maintains CPU frequency at even higher temperature compared the default profile
    * surface temperatures are measured by an infrared thermometer with matching emissivity to ensure they stay below the allowed maximum values of continuously held electronic devices in IEC 60950-1 (2005) standard
    * thermal profile is NOT a replacement for proper cooling. If you want better performance, you should cool your device. - Eliminated all SELinux neverallows and cleaned up unneeded or broken sepolicy
    * the latest Riru installation should work now. Note that if you use any mods like this, you will not receive support from me
    - Updated telephony blobs from pyxis 21.3.31 to fix random qtibus crashes in the background
    - Went back to Secure Element 1.0 to work with the updated blobs
    - Stopped enforcing s2idle from userspace init script so the kernel can suspend to RAM for better idle battery drain
    - Cleaned some unused config overlays
    **ROM update highlights:**
    - April security update
    - Fixed the issue of weather information not showing up in "At a glance" on the home screen of Pixel Launcher
    - Improved Face Unlock. The issue of front camera being occupied should happen less frequently. Let me know if you still encounter it - Devices will only use dark boot animation from now on
    - Translation updates
