I was planning to dirty flash PE11+ from April on top of previous 11+ build, but I read there are several people reporting issues...

Should I wait the next build or a fix? (Not asking ETA, just your personal feeling about this)

2) Is there any way to get Viper4Android running? After installing through Magisk, after I open the app, the driver just doesn't work. I think this has something to do with the kernel or the SeLinux? Sorry, I'm a little new to this stuff, so, I might mix up terms. Is there a way to get V4A working on this ROM? Also, I tried installing Riru from Magisk, but that didn't work either. Will that also not work on this ROM?

4) Is there a way to get better face unlock? The in built one is alright, but it just scans the straight on view of my face for a second and stores that. The MIUI version used to tell the user to rotate their entire face so that the system could capture every angle for more accuracy. The face unlock works well when using straight on, but when tilted a bit or if the phone is at an angle, it rarely works.

7) Bluetooth codec options are all greyed out in developer options. The only selected option is 'Use System Selection (Default)'. Does this rom support the other codecs like aptX etc? I don't have a bluetooth headphone that can use all those fancy codecs, but if I ever get one, will I be able to use those codecs with this ROM?
Okay, I have got answers to all my problems except these three. Can anyone please help me out?

I tried reflashing again but this time i didn't use the file from the OTA. What i did was to download the file directly from the website. Then wipe/dalvik cache then flash again the april build. i dont hear the cracking sound again so far

Hi every body,

I came from xiaomi ROM to PE. The ROM is smooth and battery is great (compares to the MIUI official ROM). With the last update, the sound bugs (cracking notification) but the Audio Compatibility Patch (Magisk) fix it.
I've got a question about the selection bar under Gboard, how to hide it ? This is unuseful and take space.
Great Job. Thank you.

So, I recently installed PE+ 11, and then Magisk. Through Magisk, I installed Systemless Hosts and ANX Camera. The only other root app I has is AdAway. I have some questions.

1) Is there any way to pass the SafetyNet test? I changed the Magisk apk, am using Magisk Hide, and have hidden Magisk from payment apps like Paytm etc.

So far, I haven't had any problems with any apps, but I have heard that certain streaming and banking apps will cause problems if SafetyNet doesn't pass, and, I don't want to have those problems later on.
For example, I installed the Airtel app to monitor my balance and data, but the app shows me a warning that Airtel banking won't run on rooted devices. I don't use Airtel banking, but if I did, how would I solve this?

2) Is there any way to get Viper4Android running? After installing through Magisk, after I open the app, the driver just doesn't work. I think this has something to do with the kernel or the SeLinux? Sorry, I'm a little new to this stuff, so, I might mix up terms. Is there a way to get V4A working on this ROM? Also, I tried installing Riru from Magisk, but that didn't work either. Will that also not work on this ROM?

3) I have a very weird mobile data bug. My preferred network type was 'Global', but then LTE data didn't work, so I switched the network type to 'CDMA+LTE/EVDO'. Now, data works fine, but after a while of using that network type, data doesn't work anymore. Now, if I switch back to 'Global', data works again temporarily. I am in India, and my carrier is Airtel (LTE). How can I fix this? What should I change the settings to? This is kind of a major problem, but I'm at home for now, where I use Wi-Fi, so, not a big deal as of now, but still.

5) Is there a way to disable the screenshot sound? It's very loud, and I couldn't find the setting to turn it off.

6) I lost Magisk root after updating using OTA. Is this normal? Do I have to flash Magisk every time after an OTA update?

7) Bluetooth codec options are all greyed out in developer options. The only selected option is 'Use System Selection (Default)'. Does this rom support the other codecs like aptX etc? I don't have a bluetooth headphone that can use all those fancy codecs, but if I ever get one, will I be able to use those codecs with this ROM?
For Number 2 - follow the video, worked for me :)

You can update Magisk once Viper4Fx shows Yes

you may proceed with dirty flash.. This time majority of sound issues is from clean flash users.. few are saying it's for random users.. But for me I just dirty flashed by Wiping cache, dalvik, system and vendor and everything is excellently running at my end.

Edit: New Build is already up...

Did someone had this problem with the previous build and now can test if it was fixed with the new one?

Did someone uses Whatsapp Web/Desktop with PE11+?
In my case I have a problem: when the phone is connected via Wi-Fi, and I'm using Whatsapp Web on PC, when the phone enters in sleep mode, after some minutes Whatsapp (on the phone and on the PC) stops receiving new notifications. Then, if I move the phone, Whatsapp works again: it's like the phone enters in a sort of Doze, and wakes up when the motion sensor notes a movement.

Of course I whitelisted Whatsapp in the Battery Optimization, but the problem is still there.

I'm losing my mind trying to find what could be the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Hello,
There are a couple of magisk modules that an do it. Either you can use G-Visual Mod from magisk app or download Addon features for pixel devices from : https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...es-for-pixel-devices-pixel-4a-thread.4215069/ . Both work fine for me on pixel experience plus on the poco f1.

Hello, I'm new to the theme of custom ROMs (ok, not so new because I've experienced it a long time ago 😅) and I got out of doubts about why PE is the best.
I have tried PE11 then PE10 and finally PE11 with the April 20 patch, and as I am curious, I noticed a bug that, when trying to send an MMS without credit says "MMS messages are not available on this network" while on PE10 if you could but with the typical error that could not be sent for lack of credit (normal) and I have the doubt that if it is a bug or is it of the same Android 11?
    Screenshot_20210422-234228_Mensajes.png

Of course, I almost forgot; wonderful the work they are doing, I loved this ROM, the truth the support is well deserved, if I can, maybe later I will make them a donation. 😉

I am hearing a crackling sound whenever the notification sounds, no problem with the phone ringtone. Anyone else facing this issue?
Yes there is a sound. I didn't notice earlier. It's only with the notification sound only. Elsewhere it is fine. Probably a lag in sound.

Is the ROM stable for daily use ? What are the bugs in this ROM ?
No bugs. Yes it is stable & an excellent daily driver for Poco F1

I have installed Pixel Experience Plus on 14-04-2021 on my Poco F1 8GB-256Gb Model. Before PE i was on Stock Rom.
Issue: I am facing crazy Battery Drop since installing the ROM, even after using battery saver, still i am getting drastic battery drop. Please Somebody help me with a proper solution, as the ROM is super smooth and i dont want to jump back to stock rom. And also i have checked in the settings, no apps is churning the juice as i have suspected earlier.
      Please guide me, ASAP.
      ~Thank You
First of all confirm whether you clean flashed the Rom.. if not then clean flash it.. then it will take 2-3 days to adapt the battery as per the usage.. Everything is good for all other users no battery drain at all.

Why there's no face unlock and status bar customizations and also an option to hide full screen gesture bar as well and make all app fullscreen?? Request to add those in the next build, thanks and I appreciate the efforts you devs putting into this device. Thank you again have a great life ahead and god bless you.
I recommend use the Fullscreen/Immersive Gestures Magisk module for fullscreen apps.

STEPS TO FLASH PIXEL EXPERIENCE 11 📲

      Notes:
Firmware and Vendor are already included in the ROM, no need to flash them.
Doesn't matter from which ROM are you coming from, even if you previously was in PE 10, you need to Format Data. [All your data into Internal Storage will be lost during formating, so take backup of your personal files]

      CLEAN INSTALLATION ⚡
      1. Download Pixel Experience Normal or Plus latest build on the Internal Storage or to your external SDCard
      2. Download, flash and reboot to latest Official TWRP and do the steps:
      Steps without external SDCard:
      • Select Wipe > Advanced Wipe
      • Select Dalvik / ART Cache, System, Data, Vendor, Cache and then Swipe to Wipe.
      • Flash ROM > Magisk [Optional] > DFE [Optional - Not Recommended]
      • Go back and select Wipe > Format Data > type yes [All your data into Internal Storage will be lost]
      • Reboot and Enjoy!
      Steps with external SDCard:
      • go to Advanced > File Manager > External_SD and delete all folders in ur ext sd card (For example you should delete: Android, .android_secure, LOST.DIR, DCIM, etc) except your personal files/folders and the folder with your custom ROM/Gapps/Magisk/DFE you want to flash.
      • Select Advanced Wipe
      • Select Dalvik / ART Cache, System, Data, Internal Storage, Vendor, Cache and then Swipe to Wipe. [All your data into Internal Storage will be lost]
      • Flash ROM > Magisk [Optional] > DFE [Optional - Not Recommended]
      • Go back and select Wipe > Format Data > type yes [All your data into Internal Storage will be lost]
      • Reboot and Enjoy!
DIRTY INSTALLATION (MANUALLY UPDATE TO LATEST BUILD)💾
      1. You must already be on Pixel Experience 11
      2. Download Pixel Experience Normal or Plus latest build
      3. Reboot to latest Official TWRP and Wipe Dalvik / ART Cache, System, Vendor, Cache.
      4. Flash the ROM > Magisk [Optional] > DFE [Optional - Not Recommended]
      5. Reboot and Enjoy!
Note: If you encounter any kind of issue with dirty installation, try clean installation before reporting the issue.

Go to Settings > System > Advanced > System Update
