Steps without external SDCard:

  • Flash ROM > DFE [Optional - Not Recommended]
  • Go back and select Wipe > Format Data > type yes [All your data into Internal Storage will be lost]
  • Reboot and Enjoy!
  • [Optional] If you want to root, reboot once again to TWRP Recovery and flash Magisk (you need to download it again if you previously had it in Internal Storage) then reboot to system and enjoy!
Steps with external SDCard:
  • go to Advanced > File Manager > External_SD and delete all folders in ur ext sd card (For example you should delete: Android, .android_secure, LOST.DIR, DCIM, etc) except your personal files/folders and the folder with your custom ROM/Gapps/Magisk/DFE you want to flash.
  • Select Advanced Wipe
  • Select Dalvik / ART Cache, System, Data, Internal Storage, Vendor, Cache and then Swipe to Wipe. [All your data into Internal Storage will be lost]
  • Flash ROM > DFE [Optional - Not Recommended]
  • Go back and select Wipe > Format Data > type yes [All your data into Internal Storage will be lost]
  • Reboot and Enjoy!
  • [Optional] If you want to root, reboot once again to TWRP Recovery and flash Magisk then reboot to system and enjoy!

Features?

Is LiveDisplay present in the update? Also, are there more customization options available (such as more colors, icons and etc.)?

Awesome! Good job @lakshay18:highfive:

---------- Post added at 02:09 ---------- Previous post was at 01:55 ----------

DFE is necessary?
Good job!!
No it's not necessary, it's optional. If you don't want encryption then you should flash.
Is the firmware already included in the rom? Or should I flash the firmware separately?
Yes it's already included in ROM, no need to flash firmware.
Most of the questions are already answered by the dev. Check OP and #2.

Xiaomi Poco F1
Bug report
IR face unlock is missing in poco f1 as its the main feauter of it.

For your kind information, This is just the initial build. Please wait for upcoming releases for face unlock, as pixels doesn't natively have that feature.
So it's not exactly a BUG.

---------- Post added at 03:34 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:34 AM ----------

Excellent work!
Will this version get OTA from here on?

Yes, for a11 builds

    September update is rolling out!
    Download
    Changelog:
    Device Specific:
    - September security patch
    - SafetyNet should be passing again
    - Misc fixes and translation updates
    Etude kernel:
    - Linux 4.9.282
    - tweaked the haptic intensity for the tick effect
    - DO NOT use a third party kernel without proper support for Pixel thermal hal
    - Rewrote the QTI aidl vibrator HAL to implement haptic effects for QPNP Haptics driver
    - now the vibrator can perform predefined haptic effects instead of doing duration-based vibrations only
some operations (the back gesture for example) will have new haptic feedbacks; some existing haptic feedbacks are more accurate and concise, like the long press on home screen and the silent/vibrate toggle in the volume panel

Safety net is working on the latest PE+
    PS:not rooted
It works if you're rooted as well...

Hi all. I got a problem after the latest OTA update on PE 11 Plus 2021/08/23 build. My device automatically restart at first and I thought it must be normal since there is information somewhere that the system need some adjustment for an hour or two. It happens several times that I noticed it when I unplugged the device from my charger and want to do stuffs, it restart again itself. This time, the restart won't go boot into the OS but becomes bootloop into TWRP.

After that, I try to do clean install, delete anything (format phone, and dalvic/cache ART, cache, data, and vendor) and try to flash that PE. (the exact same steps given here)

I noticed again if I flash without plugging the charger, it will restart automatically while still in process of installing.

I don't know what the cause of the problem. I try normal PE and PE Plus but it still the same, I try Arrow OS too and the problem still exists.

    Any thoughts?
You need to replace your battery, it has degraded and snap845 is power hungry when using 100% cpu

Why there's no face unlock and status bar customizations and also an option to hide full screen gesture bar as well and make all app fullscreen?? Request to add those in the next build, thanks and I appreciate the efforts you devs putting into this device. Thank you again have a great life ahead and god bless you.
I recommend use the Fullscreen/Immersive Gestures Magisk module for fullscreen apps.
