  • Select Advanced Wipe
  • Select Dalvik / ART Cache, System, Data, Internal Storage, Vendor, Cache and then Swipe to Wipe. [All your data into Internal Storage will be lost]

After updating to the latest version I can't get Magisk to work, no matter how I tried.
I've tried the linked 23.0 zip + apk from the flashing instructions, and it seems to install fine, there are no errors but the App reports that Magisk is not installed.
I've also tried flashing the latest flashable (that's right) apk, also without errors but that also shows up as not installed.
I've also tried extracting the boot.img and preparing it with the latest Magisk app with and without the patch and that also installs fine but it also shows up as not installed.

What the f is going on here??

Previously I had a problem with battery draining for no reason. It was solved by upgrading to the latest ROM. Unfortunately the problem has returned yesterday and there are no upgrades pending, neither for the ROM nor in Play Store. Any help of how I could maybe troubleshoot this? Or maybe someone is encountering the same problem? Thanks.

Unfortunately I had to install a new ROM. Can confirm it was the ROM and not the battery. Can go through a whole day easily now and with juice remaning at the end of the day.

I have the same issue. The problem is Google Play Services sending some data all the time. A temporary solution is to disable Internet access for Google Play Services. The disadvantage of this solution is that some applications will not send notifications. Maybe a developer can help in this topic?

I'm guessing that since this particular version has gone EOL, noone is going to address any issues related to it.

Thanks for the suggestion though, I've turned off mobile data for Play Services and I'll see how it goes!

Why there's no face unlock and status bar customizations and also an option to hide full screen gesture bar as well and make all app fullscreen?? Request to add those in the next build, thanks and I appreciate the efforts you devs putting into this device. Thank you again have a great life ahead and god bless you.
I recommend use the Fullscreen/Immersive Gestures Magisk module for fullscreen apps.
