FYI, I just dirty flashed from 11-2021/02/22 and it went smoothly.

1. Reboot to recovery
2. Flashed 11 Plus 2021/03/11
3. Flashed DFE
4. Wiped cache/dalvik
5. Boot system (was quite fast for an upgrade)
6. Reboot to recovery
7. Reinstalled Magisk
8. Restored custom mixer_paths_tavil.xml to fix horrendous in-call microphone quality due to top mic
9. Reboot to system and voilà

I just wanted to relate my experience in case it could help others, but as always, your mileage may vary

custom mixer_paths_tavil.xml?

Hi everyone. Just passing by to report on the first stable release of PE 11+:

- Uninstalled MAGISK before upgrading from PE11 (normal) BETA;
- In TWRP, i wiped System, Cache and Dalvik before flashing
- Flashed the new version (dirty flash over normal PE 11)

Phone booted just fine, so far i haven't noticed any bugs. Only my battery icon setting was reset after the upgrade (i like to see the %, it returned to the battery icon after upgrade, simple trip to the settings and it's in % again).

Overall very good ROM, thank you for your work!

I'm on latest build... Yet only 2 bugs faced by me
1. Screen flickering on night mode
2. When turning off screen wake on notification, the navigation changes from gesture navigation to 3-button navigation.

Nothing else yet

custom mixer_paths_tavil.xml?

Restored custom mixer_paths_tavil.xml to fix horrendous in-call microphone quality due to top mic
where is the fix?

The issue I have (and lot of people also have) is that during calls the top mic is on to do some noise cancelling, but is bugged. Every little hair or ear that touch the top part of the phone (that always happen when you take a call) trigger a loud poping and lead to a very bad overall quality.
One of the trick is to disable the top mic completely during calls.

It was tackled on this thread : https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/fix-in-call-echo-and-noise-from-top-mic-pocophone.3886049/

But for some reason the fix did not work for me, I messed with the configuration files on my own and ended-up with this file: https://stuff.stooit.com/d/1/604b1dc624819/mixer_paths_tavil.xml (/vendor/etc/)

Basically the idea is to set "DEC8 Volume" to 0 (but not everywhere, as when you are in speaker mode you need the mic)

I wiped system, cache, vendor, installed PE Plus, then format data. All things working fine. But when I rebooted to TWRP it asks for password to decrypt and storage is encrypted and i can't flash magisk.

After formatting, why TWRP asking for decryption?

On previous build it was fine?
nyehh. it was fine some 2 or 3 builds ago. that was the clean flash actually.

which brings back to the question... did the inbuilt dirty flash the reason for this problem?

MemeUI Android 12 update will be not be given to F1. Xiaomi has published a list you can look.

Are you Facing these PROBLEMS 🤔
    1. Battery giving less Backup(Sot)
    2. Heavy idle battery drain
    3. Device automatically restarting
    4. Not Booting / Boot loop
    5. Wrong / strange battery percentage.

Then there is a high chance that your battery is dying..
    Try a Clean Flash,
    If the problem remains.

Change your battery and do a dirty flash with a battery calibration

Why there's no face unlock and status bar customizations and also an option to hide full screen gesture bar as well and make all app fullscreen?? Request to add those in the next build, thanks and I appreciate the efforts you devs putting into this device. Thank you again have a great life ahead and god bless you.
I recommend use the Fullscreen/Immersive Gestures Magisk module for fullscreen apps.

STEPS TO FLASH PIXEL EXPERIENCE 11 📲
    Notes:
Firmware and Vendor are already included in the ROM, no need to flash them.
Doesn't matter from which ROM are you coming from, even if you previously was in PE 10, you need to Format Data. [All your data into Internal Storage will be lost during formating, so take backup of your personal files]
    CLEAN INSTALLATION ⚡
    1. Download Pixel Experience Normal or Plus latest build on the Internal Storage or to your external SDCard
    2. Download, flash and reboot to latest Official TWRP and do the steps:
    Steps without external SDCard:
    • Select Wipe > Advanced Wipe
    • Select Dalvik / ART Cache, System, Data, Vendor, Cache and then Swipe to Wipe.
    • Flash ROM > DFE [Optional - Not Recommended]
    • Go back and select Wipe > Format Data > type yes [All your data into Internal Storage will be lost]
    • Reboot and Enjoy!
    • [Optional] If you want to root, reboot once again to TWRP Recovery and flash Magisk (you need to download it again if you previously had it in Internal Storage) then reboot to system and enjoy!
    Steps with external SDCard:
    • go to Advanced > File Manager > External_SD and delete all folders in ur ext sd card (For example you should delete: Android, .android_secure, LOST.DIR, DCIM, etc) except your personal files/folders and the folder with your custom ROM/Gapps/Magisk/DFE you want to flash.
    • Select Advanced Wipe
    • Select Dalvik / ART Cache, System, Data, Internal Storage, Vendor, Cache and then Swipe to Wipe. [All your data into Internal Storage will be lost]
    • Flash ROM > DFE [Optional - Not Recommended]
    • Go back and select Wipe > Format Data > type yes [All your data into Internal Storage will be lost]
    • Reboot and Enjoy!
    • [Optional] If you want to root, reboot once again to TWRP Recovery and flash Magisk then reboot to system and enjoy!

    1. You must already be on Pixel Experience 11
    2. Download Pixel Experience Normal or Plus latest build
    3. Reboot to latest Official TWRP and Wipe Dalvik / ART Cache, System, Vendor, Cache.
    4. Flash the ROM > Magisk [Optional] > DFE [Optional - Not Recommended]
