Run cmd as administrator and check fastboot devices first. It should show the device code.

It gives question Mks instead of device name once I used fastboot devices command. See the 3rd command in the attached picture.

Do you think this error is because I am encrypted and didn't install DFE
I have seen your command prompt title bar is not showing Administrator.
It will not show the error if you follow the procedure. You can find the guides here

So, I recently installed PE+ 11, and then Magisk. Through Magisk, I installed Systemless Hosts and ANX Camera. The only other root app I has is AdAway. I have some questions.

1) Is there any way to pass the SafetyNet test? I changed the Magisk apk, am using Magisk Hide, and have hidden Magisk from payment apps like Paytm etc.

So far, I haven't had any problems with any apps, but I have heard that certain streaming and banking apps will cause problems if SafetyNet doesn't pass, and, I don't want to have those problems later on.
For example, I installed the Airtel app to monitor my balance and data, but the app shows me a warning that Airtel banking won't run on rooted devices. I don't use Airtel banking, but if I did, how would I solve this?

2) Is there any way to get Viper4Android running? After installing through Magisk, after I open the app, the driver just doesn't work. I think this has something to do with the kernel or the SeLinux? Sorry, I'm a little new to this stuff, so, I might mix up terms. Is there a way to get V4A working on this ROM? Also, I tried installing Riru from Magisk, but that didn't work either. Will that also not work on this ROM?

3) I have a very weird mobile data bug. My preferred network type was 'Global', but then LTE data didn't work, so I switched the network type to 'CDMA+LTE/EVDO'. Now, data works fine, but after a while of using that network type, data doesn't work anymore. Now, if I switch back to 'Global', data works again temporarily. I am in India, and my carrier is Airtel (LTE). How can I fix this? What should I change the settings to? This is kind of a major problem, but I'm at home for now, where I use Wi-Fi, so, not a big deal as of now, but still.

4) Is there a way to get better face unlock? The in built one is alright, but it just scans the straight on view of my face for a second and stores that. The MIUI version used to tell the user to rotate their entire face so that the system could capture every angle for more accuracy. The face unlock works well when using straight on, but when tilted a bit or if the phone is at an angle, it rarely works.

5) Is there a way to disable the screenshot sound? It's very loud, and I couldn't find the setting to turn it off.

6) I lost Magisk root after updating using OTA. Is this normal? Do I have to flash Magisk every time after an OTA update?

7) Bluetooth codec options are all greyed out in developer options. The only selected option is 'Use System Selection (Default)'. Does this rom support the other codecs like aptX etc? I don't have a bluetooth headphone that can use all those fancy codecs, but if I ever get one, will I be able to use those codecs with this ROM?

I'm getting some phantom touches with latest July.
When I'm on Full-screen YouTube videos it goes to home randomly
When Keyboard appears or even sometimes writing it closes

    Anyone else with same?
Edit: Watching vertical YouTube also has phantom touches to home

After the latest update GCam does not work. It hangs on Processing HDR+. I've tried v7.3 and v8.1, from different mooders, but the result is the same.

You can use NGK kernel, it will fix the issue 😉
I've done some testing, with ngk 2.2 gcam HDR+ works correctly and doesn't stuck.
However with newest 2.3 it doesn't work.
Same with etude that came with the latest build.
    Reverting to May's build helps.
if you flash 2.3 ngk kernels on Mays build camera HDR+ will stuck.

It seems to be something with the latest streamline in both built-in etude and ngk kernels that affects the HDR+ processing.

In the last update on June 22, 2021, auto brightness has become worse. If it works very well on the street, then the screen is dark in the house, in the curtain you have to add brightness.

After 2 years, my battery was at around 60% of its original capacity. But it is a fact that after the OTA update, battery drain increased heavily. Just because you and the team don't face that problem, it doesn't mean that all the other people with problems are lying. However, my battery problem was fixed after a replacement and a clean flash.

To be clear, I'm not blaming the devs here. They clearly recommend a clean flash, and most people come to complain after a dirty flash, including me, so I apologise for that, but the least you could do is acknowledge the issue.

With my battery problem issue, I believe the fault was mine as well, because I updated straight from April build to June build through OTA. I always update using OTA, but still, I'd appreciate it if you could link me your dirty flash guide.
Hello and sorry for my late response,

I am not saying that you lying.
Battery drain depends on many things and mostly is caused by the end of user. For example if you are using magisk modules, modded apps, bad wakelocks, if the battery is old and what use you are doing, etc.

We cannot know exactly what causing your drain. You didn't provided any graph of ur usage or something. We don't experience any huge drain and the SOT we get with normal use is around ~9hours+ and my battery is also 2.5 years old.

Ofc you don't have to clean install everytime on every new update, unless the dev announce it for a specific reason.
I have to clean install for months and I am switching between stable and test builds with my dirty flash guide and sometimes via OTA without any issue.

I recommend you to check the Dirty Flash Guide, Battery Guide and monitor your device with BetterBattaryStats app which can be find at Useful Apps section on my POCO F1 Ultimate Collection & Guides thread. You can find everything you need there.

If you still have issues even after July update which coming soon, please provide battery graphs, battery stats-wakelocks and tell us if you are using any module or something modded like modded apps - launcher for example, etc.

I post the July changelog here because I believe not all of you have read it. There is one thing to take care with App Lock being removed if you use it, before you update:
    Changelog 24/07/2021:
    • Etude kernel: Op.11 No.5: Linux 4.9.275 made msm_serial_hs and Bluetooth threads RT to improve Bluetooth buffer copy speed and avoid scheduling delays in kernel disabled dfps in JDI and EBBG panels to prevent dfps from messing with vsync timers.
Animations should feel smoother moved geni_i2c driver init to async Enabled DRBG_HASH and DRBG_CTR as recommended by NIST SP 800-90A upstream fix for PS5 controller HID driver.
DO NOT use a third party kernel without proper support for Pixel thermal hal.
    • Fixed GCAM HDR processing issue.
    • Fixed the color mode logic in display HAL your screen now correctly returns to the previous color profile after playing an HDR video or displaying DCI P3 content you do not need to worry about which color profile you use. Even if you use an sRGB profile most of the time, the screen will temporarily switch to a proper profile when the content is HDR or DCI P3, and switch back afterwards.
    • Fixed the issue of broken screen brightness adjustment in some apps.
    • Updated VPP, Media Codecs, CACert, Display, Adreno, SCVE, WFD, msm_irqbalance, Time Services, TEE, TUI, Peripheral Manager, ESE, Widevine, and DRM blobs from OnePlus6 android11 open beta.
    • Correctly set cpu_dma_latency in hexadecim.
    Feature Update Highlight:
    • July security patch
    • Face unlock improvements
    • App lock is removed due to bugs. Note: if you have apps locked in older builds, remove the lock before updating to the new build. Otherwise those apps will still work, but you will not be able to uninstall them.

Why there's no face unlock and status bar customizations and also an option to hide full screen gesture bar as well and make all app fullscreen?? Request to add those in the next build, thanks and I appreciate the efforts you devs putting into this device. Thank you again have a great life ahead and god bless you.
I recommend use the Fullscreen/Immersive Gestures Magisk module for fullscreen apps.
