I dont know this is only with my device but i can upload video !! Of test
Backup your data first and do a clean flash by performing format data. Everything is smooth here. If you lies under the category of heavy core gamers then I don't have any suggestions left. Because those category people will never feel happy with their device Even if they buy maximum featured phone.

It is not a good rom for daily use.Mobile phone is for calling purpose.Unfortunately this rom is not good for the basic calling purpose. The network crashes always. When we travelling it losses it signal without showing any signs. So we dont get any calls after that.Only restart is the solution.Imporatant call will miss.Dear Dev this is the basic functionality of a mobile phone. Please fix the network issue. So I switched to other rom.

    could you explain your suggestion?
There are many things that banking apps search for when checking to see if you're rooted. Checking for the presence of a TWRP folder is one of them.
    1
same here, also on last two updates... sadly no solution yet
I also had same issue, i rooted mine and hid the magisk via magisk hide and added the banking apps to hidemagisk list after clearing their data and voila.. banking apps working fine..

I post the July changelog here because I believe not all of you have read it. There is one thing to take care with App Lock being removed if you use it, before you update:
    Changelog 24/07/2021:
    • Etude kernel: Op.11 No.5: Linux 4.9.275 made msm_serial_hs and Bluetooth threads RT to improve Bluetooth buffer copy speed and avoid scheduling delays in kernel disabled dfps in JDI and EBBG panels to prevent dfps from messing with vsync timers.
Animations should feel smoother moved geni_i2c driver init to async Enabled DRBG_HASH and DRBG_CTR as recommended by NIST SP 800-90A upstream fix for PS5 controller HID driver.
DO NOT use a third party kernel without proper support for Pixel thermal hal.
    • Fixed GCAM HDR processing issue.
    • Fixed the color mode logic in display HAL your screen now correctly returns to the previous color profile after playing an HDR video or displaying DCI P3 content you do not need to worry about which color profile you use. Even if you use an sRGB profile most of the time, the screen will temporarily switch to a proper profile when the content is HDR or DCI P3, and switch back afterwards.
    • Fixed the issue of broken screen brightness adjustment in some apps.
    • Updated VPP, Media Codecs, CACert, Display, Adreno, SCVE, WFD, msm_irqbalance, Time Services, TEE, TUI, Peripheral Manager, ESE, Widevine, and DRM blobs from OnePlus6 android11 open beta.
    • Correctly set cpu_dma_latency in hexadecim.
    Feature Update Highlight:
    • July security patch
    • Face unlock improvements
    • App lock is removed due to bugs. Note: if you have apps locked in older builds, remove the lock before updating to the new build. Otherwise those apps will still work, but you will not be able to uninstall them.
    • Translation updates

You can use NGK kernel, it will fix the issue 😉
I've done some testing, with ngk 2.2 gcam HDR+ works correctly and doesn't stuck.
However with newest 2.3 it doesn't work.
Same with etude that came with the latest build.
    Reverting to May's build helps.
if you flash 2.3 ngk kernels on Mays build camera HDR+ will stuck.

It seems to be something with the latest streamline in both built-in etude and ngk kernels that affects the HDR+ processing.

After 2 years, my battery was at around 60% of its original capacity. But it is a fact that after the OTA update, battery drain increased heavily. Just because you and the team don't face that problem, it doesn't mean that all the other people with problems are lying. However, my battery problem was fixed after a replacement and a clean flash.

To be clear, I'm not blaming the devs here. They clearly recommend a clean flash, and most people come to complain after a dirty flash, including me, so I apologise for that, but the least you could do is acknowledge the issue.

With my battery problem issue, I believe the fault was mine as well, because I updated straight from April build to June build through OTA. I always update using OTA, but still, I'd appreciate it if you could link me your dirty flash guide.
Hello and sorry for my late response,

I am not saying that you lying.
Battery drain depends on many things and mostly is caused by the end of user. For example if you are using magisk modules, modded apps, bad wakelocks, if the battery is old and what use you are doing, etc.

We cannot know exactly what causing your drain. You didn't provided any graph of ur usage or something. We don't experience any huge drain and the SOT we get with normal use is around ~9hours+ and my battery is also 2.5 years old.

Ofc you don't have to clean install everytime on every new update, unless the dev announce it for a specific reason.
I have to clean install for months and I am switching between stable and test builds with my dirty flash guide and sometimes via OTA without any issue.

I recommend you to check the Dirty Flash Guide, Battery Guide and monitor your device with BetterBattaryStats app which can be find at Useful Apps section on my POCO F1 Ultimate Collection & Guides thread. You can find everything you need there.

If you still have issues even after July update which coming soon, please provide battery graphs, battery stats-wakelocks and tell us if you are using any module or something modded like modded apps - launcher for example, etc.

Could you suggest an alternative to the gallery app perhaps? I used to be on PE but I had to revert to this buggy **** because
    1. No gallery app. It was gphotos and it sucked big time
    2. No miui stock camera... Gcams are still scarce to find for a11 aosps and it's hard..
    3. Double tap only on status bar: maybe I should try poco launcher maybe?
    4. Raise to wake not available and face unlock takes time...
Do you suggest any other roms then? dm if not comfortable here
    1. Try Simple Gallery is one of the best. There is also F-Droid version.

    2. Gcam is better than MIUI Camera in pictures especially in low light conditions. Check my POCO F1 Ultimate Collection & Guides (or post #2 in this thread at OP), I have links for all recommended gcam ports.
Everyone is happy with Gcam, I don't know what u don't like.

    3. Idk what you mean with double tap on status bar. There is a setting to double on status bar to sleep if you mean that.
Try Nova Launcher 7 if you want to change launcher.

    4. I don't use face unlock but as far I know it's fast enough and most of the ROMs use the same face unlock PE use.

Also PE is pure clean ROM and kinda offers the same stuff you get on Pixel devices, and even some more with Plus version. You can suggest features in the main team if you want tho but it's not guarantee that they will add them. Forget features and apps from MIUI, you will not get them in any AOSP ROM. (I don't know why u want the apps from MIUI, it's full of spyware and wants uncessary permissions)

Don't ask suggestions for other ROMs in a thread of a ROM you are now, it's kinda rude to the dev and to the ROM community. You can check the list in my collection thread and decide by urself.

Having issues with Google Camera. Gcam 7.4 straightaway crashes and sanity gcam 7.2 gets stuck saying processing HDR+. This is only happening after I updated to the 22nd June version. Any fix?
For now try MGC 8.2.300 Parrot043 V6, NGK kernel got it fix it too, or wait for next update, the fix has been merged into next build...

Why there's no face unlock and status bar customizations and also an option to hide full screen gesture bar as well and make all app fullscreen?? Request to add those in the next build, thanks and I appreciate the efforts you devs putting into this device. Thank you again have a great life ahead and god bless you.
I recommend use the Fullscreen/Immersive Gestures Magisk module for fullscreen apps.
