PixelExperience is an AOSP based ROM, with Google apps included and all Pixel goodies (launcher, wallpapers, icons, fonts, boot animation)

Its a problem with kernel. Fix for it:

Developer of the builds need to incorporate changes into the kernel from builds. I may prepare for you kernel file but still you need to incorporate it into boot.img

Charging is very slow in this ROM.
My phone fully charges in 3 hours when switched off.
But when charge normally it always shows "charging slowly" and takes about 7-8 hours to fully charge.
Never thought I would be tempted to go back to OEM stock ROM.

I used Firmware 432 from here (this is not a ROM): https://xdaforums.com/t/firmware-firmware-asus-zenfone-max-pro-m1.4078747/
The zip file just needs to be installed via Recovery(TWRP or OrangeFox)

Thanks a lot brother. I installed the ROM. Everything seems fine but volume output through mobile speaker is very low.

Also, no clickable indicator in the status bar for what apps are using, such as location, etc. and which apps, and no download/ upload arrows near the wifi and mobile data icons in the status bar, as you can see in the attached images. And finally, audio through speaker has a bit of distortion.
