yes wipe all except /SDCARD which is the external MICRO SD Card in your phone wipe all internal,data etc and only leave SD CARD UNTICK

No need. Install MagiskCU before installing Magisk-v21.1 from TWRP

these are just my observations and questions.
-how to use split screen on this rom? i dont know how it works.
-when using messenger bubbles, sometimes the phone hangs and eventually restarts the device.
-when playing some videos on facebook, and then minimizes it, the video will be paused and it stays "connecting".
-battery drains faster than the 4.7 build
-many options are missing inside "The Evolver" settings like the navigation shortcuts etc etc..
-connection issues??

i dont know if these problems occur on some other devices.. already tested 2 rn7 phones. the same problem happens. but overall good rom
i clean flashed both phones.

The only time I could install Magisk with Evolution ended with a boot loop. This was the the situation, when a button appeared left beside "add zip" to add Magisk. I saw this button never again, and when I try to add Magisk with the menu, I get the message in red, that it is missing.

Hello,

I was using the EvolutionX 4.7 ROM. I tried to download the MIU12 and flash it.
After I have downloaded after this ROM and flashed it.
But now, when I flash magisk it keep rebooting and stuck at the flastboot mode ...

I am not sur how to upgrade to MIU12 when you was using a custom ROM ...
Also, if the EvolutionX 5.1 is working on my phone it's because I have successfully installed the MIU12 right ?

If so I don't undersand why I can't flash the magisk app.
I have already flash all I could expect SD.
If you have some info ...

I can do what I want, I end in a boot loop or in fastboot, when I install magisk. Without magisk everything seems to be fine.

Please clarify the names and use the same names in the installation description as twrp or orange fox uses. I thought before I should not wipe internal storage.

It looks like you are not allowed to wipe or format data (name with twrp and OF). I installed EvolutionX 5.1 a 2nd time without magisk and wiped / formatted nothing. OF said it installed Magisk, but then I get a boot loop.

So please let us know with twrp/OrangeFox naming, what can be wiped and what should not be wiped in any case.

BTW: There are sometimes problems with Wifi (password ok, connected) during the installation, after a long time it says it cannot get an internet connection, again the same with a 2nd trial. If I flash again, it works then with Wifi without problems.

Devs, please, literally work on the quick update to solve the problems mentioned above, and create a new long post about fixes and solutions, I know it's frustrating, but you want release a stable rom to the public

If you have bootloop or going to download mode, go back to recovery and flash MagiskCU and restart. I solve mine.

sometime my phone hang while using chrome and need to restart, still not known why? some member report because of netflix, i m not using this app. But this happen sometime. I have cleaned flash.
OF recovery not recognize screen passwords, need to remove password before going to recovery. I m not sure ROM or OF problem.

Just wanted to thank you for this wonderful ROM.
I love it and I love android 11.
Of course thereis lot's of little bug there but it's not a big deal.

I had the endless fast boot issue when I tried to flash Magisk. But like said here and on the telegram channel you just have to flash MagiskCU and Magisk 21 after and everything is all right after.

Hi, thanks a lot for this rom, I've recently buy the Note 7, so I'd like to flash this good rom, but I have a question about aosp roms, is it possible to have the xiaomi miui 12 ultra power save, or something equivalent on this rom, or it's only for stock roms ?

Just wanna say thank you and well done with this ROM . The customisation is one of the best I've experienced on any ROM. I haven't experienced any issues that have been mentioned above, but I'm not saying they are not there. Apart from that, I didn't install Magisk as I know there has been issues with Magisk and Android 11 ROMs causing bootloop.

Keep up the great work and look forward to any new feature you may shoehorn into the next build.

PS I'm no longer a newbie to flashing ROMs

Seems the reboot to recovery option in advanced power menu isn't working. And can the devs give the option to show the network speed indicator on the status bar itself? We have to pull down to see it. And battery backup is bad. Like 5hr sot only
