In the change log, when it says "GApps included" (2022.11.06), does it mean you get to choose if you want them to be installed, or they always come pre-installed?
They always come pre installed. The wierd part is when i tried to fresh installed nikgapps to replace all crdroid gapps, i couldn't pass the gathering info screen. So i just installed the rest of gapps from playstore
There is a switch to disable google services and apps under CrDroid settings. However, if you wish to remove them permanently, you can use the Universal Android Debloater tool. The maintainer of this device includes Google apps in the ROM because VAB devices don't support OTA script. This allows for a stable OTA, and it's also worth noting that approximately 80% of users require Google apps. Therefore, including them in the ROM is a practical decision.
Please, can somebody answer to this? I need to know before updating. Very important here.

I notice that 'Quick Unlock' doesn't work any more (although the setting is still there) is that one of these removed features?
Also has anybody tried installing twrp after this update? Is that still baulked?
Native video calling does not work.
Sometimes when someone is calling, the phone rings but no display as to who is calling or how to answer the call.
When using the front camera for video calls (messenger, etc.), there is no cutout which results in a flared face

it's seem to have no VANILLA version of this ROM
PLEASE can you offer a vanilla version (without GAPPS) of this nice ROM ??

Hi, I have flashed CrDroid 9.x and I'm having trouble with a few things:
- USB debugging resets to off every reboot
- There is no "Allow root to adb" in Debugging options despite Magisk authorizing apps and adb, so I can't adb root into my phone from adb.
- Partitions seem to be mounted weirdly : after authorizing termux su rights, I can't edit /system/build.prop ("Read only filesystem").
Are those behaviors normal ? Any help appreciated.

In my experience, there is no such problem. The phone charges normally at 5,10,18 or 33 watts if you use the stock charger. Maybe the people who have these problems need to check their chargers or cables with the proper equipment. -
