• Download ROM
• Boot to latest TWRP (V3.6.0_9-0 Official required).
• Go to Wipe > Advanced Wipe. Check Dalvik, Cache, System, Data & Vendor. Swipe to wipe.
• Flash the ROM zip.

• After a successful flash, Go back to Wipe > Format > type yes. [Mandatory]​

• Reboot

I used today two tutorials, because of youtube.
Now I forgot the red marked spot and did already a reboot. Google expierence is trying to boot but getting stuck.
I pushed now the power and volume up button and I come to a pixel experience recovery mode.

Does anyone know how I start from 0 or if there is any other solution? Thank you

I followed the steps and i have the twrp version mention in post #2, still i get booted into recovery again!
I don't know if i did something wrong.
Hope logcat helps!

Same here - I followed every step mentioned in the post and the phone boots to TWRP. Any ideas how to solve it?

I'm not a developer just wondering why don't you start from there if recovery mode opens?

After this stage you can follow the instructions specified again.

Flash Rom zip through adb sideload, format data and reboot

After installing Pixel Experience rom, my TWRP deleted and replaced with P.E. recovery. I reinstalled TWRP with Fastboot ADB but I can't make it permanent because all files seem encrypted (no password on phone, fingerprint, screen lock etc.). I can't install DM Verity & Forceencrypt to remove encryption with TWRP because everything is encrypted. is there any solution? (device can boot normally)

Hey. Just installed the rom and wondering how to add mobile network icon. Will the mobile network only shown in VoLTE icon? I noticed that strength of mobile network in VoLTE decreases sometimes. So is there any way to add mobile network icon?

Flashing Instructions:​

• Download ROM
• Boot to latest TWRP (V3.6.0_9-0 Official required).

NOTE

• Force Encryption is Enabled by Default.
• Clean Flash is MANDATORY!
• Any Recovery present will be overridden by PE recovery in order to make OTA updates work as other recoveries currently doesn’t supports Decryption!
• Encrypted users are RECOMMENDED not to use Custom Recoveries! Or else OTA won’t work and have to update manually through adb sideload or external storage.
• If you are a decrypted user flash Latest TWRP again and follow the steps to update ROM manually.
• OTA doesn’t work for Decrypted Users
• Flash Latest TWRP first before proceeding for installation!

1) when installed it did NOT replace the twrp , idk if a bug or something
(twrp 3.6.0.9, adb sideload for install ,did a complete wipe)

2) cannot manually flash the PE recovery from fastboot

3) rom stuck on boot screen if DFE not used immediately after flashing

4) magisk can't be installed with the patch boot image method,
( had to flash "APK"using recovery, "zip" file is not working)


Still is now in a perfectly usable condition

Is there a way to install Pixel Experience Android 12 rom without losing TWRP? While TWRP was not deleted in other ROMs, after installing this rom, TWRP was deleted and I had to return to MIUI with fastboot and then install TWRP. There was no other way, I tried everything. For this reason, I've moved away from the rom for the moment. I will be following the developments.

I did a report issue with OTG NTFS USB flash drive while trying to explore it from phone and ROM, in TWRP same flash is usable.

I can say that I'm pleased with the ROM since I've used 11.0-20210823-0645-OFFICIAL for several months which had a catastrophic battery life and phone was often on a charger for 4+ months, but didn't wanted to update to newer versions since the reactivation of banking app that I use was a bummer at that time.

Now with this version of ROM, I think I can use a phone a day without a charger.

Maybe there is a bug that I've discovered with priority conversations/notifications for Messaging, but I will see how it behaves later and report it if it exists.
